We really enjoyed our evening at Two Hound Red. The food and the beer were very good and nicely presented. The service was also very good. We did have to ask for utensils and napkins. The best surprise of the night was the entertainment. A folk singer was playing and electric guitar, and his partner was actually making some paintings to a few of the songs.
Refusing to pay my daughter for working there. Hired her, decided to choose the other girl they hired at the same time, and will not pay my daughter for the days she trained there. Should have known when they didn’t have her fill out a tax form right away. Very shady. Will never go there.
First time here. Stopped in today for lunch. The good and the bad...... Nice atmosphere. Service was just ok. The Pulled pork sandwich was outstanding, but the chihuahua chicken sandwich fell wayyyy short. It is described as blackened chicken, pico, lettuce, pepper jack cheese, and Chipotle ketchup. Well, it was not blackened. Just a plain chicken breast, and it had 5 slices of avocado 🥑. Whaaat??? Totally unacceptable. This isn't the sandwich described.
Food and drinks were not good. Service was ok. Band was good and the bar area was a little more lively. We would not return.
We came to hear the band, Crazy Heart . The food, service and music.. all outstanding! Well he back!! Thank you
Two Hound Red Brewing Co is a great place you should visit. They have a great selection of craft beers, and a large variety of food items to choose from. We had a larger group, so the orders ranged from mac and cheese, to pizzas, to burgers, to salads. Everyone was very happy with their choices and all the food was excellent! We also enjoyed the craft beers, and cocktails. In fact, one cocktail was a bit sweet, and the issue was corrected on the spot. I would highly recommend Two Hound, and if in town in the future, this would be my first stop!
Cheese curds and pulled pork were awesome! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, good vibes.
We loved the ambiance and the food! Great service and nice drink offerings. Definitely recommend!
I was going to leave a good review but i just couldn’t get over the amount of insects and dirty tables, the food was a waste it wasn’t even warm and not to mention while eating i had to witness one of the chefs throwing things and screaming at other workers through the window i could see from my seat. if i could leave zero stars i would.
This place has by far the worst hospitality. there were multiple instances where i could hear cooks or managers verbally abusing their employees and that resulted in food coming out late cold and disgusting. Never come here you wont have good food or any good service!

Most disgusting place to dine in Dupage county. The health department should be brought in. Bugs flying around our food and food was served cold. Soup isn’t supposed to be cold. The burger I ordered was dripping with grease and tasted like nothing. McDonald’s could do better. If I could have found a manager I would have spoken to them. Our waitress was slower than a cow out to pasture. She was slow on delivery of meals and our cold soup came out at the same time as our entree. There is NO way I will ever be spending any amount of money here ever again. Control your flying insects and get some wait staff that can move food. The kitchen should be checked for proper food handling. I truly feel like I wasted my time here. Shameful.
Everything was great (especially our server) UNTIL, this horribly loud, head-banging band started playing at 8pm last Friday nite. Bottom line, READ THE ROOM! The place at this time of the nite, was packed with primarily 40+ aged people. Who were both very angry and dumbfounded at the idea that management would hire this style of band for this small venue in conservative downtown Glen Ellyn. Our terrific server had to move us and several others, to the outside patio. Luckily, the weather was extremely warm for mid-March and where we were able finish our dinner in "relative" peace. PS; will give the manager credit, who did give us a nice discount for our obvious displeasure.
Service was great. Food was good, but I did wish there were more options for someone not super hungry. The cheese curds...YUM
A good place for lunch, wasn't very busy so it was relaxed. Quick, friendly service but some of the items didn't come out quite right. Nothing major, just of note. Also their supplier hadn't come for several days so they were out of many items- not their fault at all, but disappointing. Would definitely go back!
This was our first time dining in at the restaurant. Gave a four star rating because the service was extraordinarily excellent and I would give it more than five stars if that was an option. The cheese curds were very lightly breaded and delicious although a little bit on the greasy side. The nachos were A+. Pulled pork was delicious but pretty messy. We will give it another try!
