Good local restaurant choice. The food overall is tasty and creative, but they might want to revisit the beer cheese soup. I had beer in my glass, cheese in my bowl, but soup was nowhere to be found. You guys do a great job, but this soup is not good. It is more like Velveeta in a bowl. Trivia was fun! Unfortunately our waitress didn't ask if we wanted dessert and by the time we asked her, the kitchen was closed. Too bad because it was my birthday :(

First time in. Really enjoyed my hot honey chicken sandwich. Did not get to sample the beers as I was in for lunch on a work day. I did notice they have live entertainment and happy hour. I will be back!

We had reservations for a table and were seated right away. We sat for over 15 minutes before asking a few different employees for a waiter. We soon realized the place was drastically understaffed. We went to the bar to get drinks while we waited and eventually got served. I will say that the staff they did have was hustling like crazy so can't be mad at them a bit but management didn't seem present and the small staff was overwhelmed. They had a band while we were there and they were awesome. Food was all very tasty as were the drinks.

We love Two Hound and eat here often because it is a local restaurant and they really try. There were a couple misses on our last visit though. First, a couple of beverages listed on the menu were not actually available, and then they had no coffee available or a candle to celebrate a birthday. These are little things but would have been nice to have. Always wonderful food and servers though!

Nachos were the most basic nachos I've ever received at a restaurant with a beer cheese sauce or something on them. Coke we ordered was as flat as water, the oatmeal stout was also perfectly flat. Took a chance on ordering the risotto from a beer pub thinking perhaps is was something the kitchen staff learned well earlier in their career at another restaurant, it was bad enough to send back. The pizza crust was good but the rest of it was bad enough that I only ate 2 slices. The wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere could potentially be something special but the bass in the music was way over the top. Were all the managers on vacation? I don't know how this place stays in business when there are so many other options.

Picked this place as we had never been...we like trying new places. Had high hopes as we walked in and the vibe was great. Warm and inviting. This place has potential, but the food needs a lot of help. Started w nachos...the cheese was cold, minimal toppings for a nacho app. Not sure how you can screw up nachos. My Coke was flat...not their fault but you could see there was no carbonation when dispensed into glass..how do you miss that?? Not a great start to our meal. Apple Pear salad was good...but added chicken was over-cooked. We tried the risotto as a side to our meal...undercooked, bland..zero flavor. Probably should have known not to try risotto at a bar. Other dishes we had were just "ok". They use beer cheese (I think) on the pizza...weird taste and texture for a pizza. Our sever was super nice and we did let him know about the Coke and risotto...he was very nice and listened to our concerns. Part of me thinks they need to eat the food they serve. We asked our server if he had tried the risotto...he had not. Things can look good coming out of the kitchen but taste is another thing. The place had customers (30% filled) but it was not busy for a Friday night...improve the food and they might see more customers. Also...turn the base down on your music...i could feel the base thru my soul...kinda annoying when trying to relax and enjoy a night out. Hopefully changes are made bc this place could be great!

Tried every beer on tap in a massive flight - most were excellent, none were awful. No ethyl acetate, no diacetyl bombs. They have excellent lagers, and good IPAs. This is an improvement over the beer pre-pandemic, which was hit or miss. Ten or twelve of the sixteen were worth getting again, by my taste.Since we can't really get Negra Modelo fresh around here, I'll recommend that you try their clone.Food was good, service was good, but there weren't many people there. Downtown Glen Ellyn is mostly done with the construction of the sidewalks now, so parking was easy and the area felt really safe.

My husband and I rented this brewery for a Covid wedding celebration. It was fantastic! The staff took such good care of us and went out of their way to make our evening special. We had so much fun and can’t say enough good things!

The restaurant was not very crowded but there was not a host or hostess to seat us. We did make a reservation, but since it was not crowded we didn't need it even though it was on a Saturday night at 6:30. The food and beer was good. The service was slow and a mess, wrong beers were brought to the table, soup was cold.

The food was not great and the beer was worse. They had a band later that was not good but I think that was predominantly due to the sound system or the acoustics in the restaurant. The service was less than just OK. No crazy issues but I wouldn't recommend to friends.
