This is a sorta hybrid market-restaurant place. Definitely recommend for the hot food on offer, especially the soups, salads and sandwiches. A bit pricey but if you like the cutesy casual atmosphere it'll be worth it.

Foodstuffs is quite fabulous! From their soups to sandwiches to prepared foods, you can’t go wrong with everything fresh and delicious. And be sure to get their Courtney’s tuna salad - the best!!!
The Glencoe location is a bustling place and they have a wider variety than the Evanston location (which I also highly recommend).
And did I mention the desserts?! Lots of scrumptious options!
Along with the wonderful food, the customer service is excellent!

I just had a terrific and very professional experience with Jennifer Tyrkala in the catering department. She was top notch in her communication and offered very helpful suggestions for our office lunch catering experience. Pricing was also terrific! I highly recommend Jennifer and Foodstuffs!

Great gourmet food store, lots of cheese varieties, baked goods, cooked hot foods, fish, shrimp, caviar, wines and more.The back area has a great made to order deli sandwich counter and made to order salads area. There's seating in front inside at tables and window counters.

We love their soups! That with some good sliced roast beef on their buttercrust white bread, c'est magnifique! This makes a perfect Sunday night supper for us.
