Went to Frank and Betsie’s with my family and had such a great time. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming — it feels like a place you can relax and enjoy a really good meal. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the service was super friendly and attentive. And the cake? My kids loved it, Absolutely top tier. Moist, rich, and easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in Chicago. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is straight out of a Nora Ephron movie! The host, Mike, and our waiter, Joe were incredible and we had fabulous service. They were very accommodating and even servers who weren’t assigned to our section checked in on us to make sure there wasn’t anything we needed. It felt so homey and welcoming, and the dessert was amazing. I’ve not had such attentive and genuine service at a restaurant in years. I applaud the staff for their wonderful attitudes since it seemed like a lot of the clientele were a bit difficult (and I see that reflected in some of these pointed and ridiculous reviews).
We will absolutely be back ❤️

A great little place in downtown Glencoe that is reminiscent of the bistros in France. Lovely menu and a welcoming atmosphere.

I have been going there for over 20 years. The food and Service is superb, and has been so, consistently for over 20 years, there has been a slight change in ownership, with the former maître D now serving as manager owner. It could not have gotten better, because it was superb; and it remains superb.

Hidden gem conveniently located near the Hubbard Woods Metra stop. Delicious food and great value when you consider that a soup/salad, veggies, and rice/potatoes comes with every entree. The environment was lovely, nice and quiet compared to most restaurants. Perfect for catching up with friends or date night.

We like to go to Frank&Betsy before a show at the Writer's Theatre. Good food, nice service and atmosphere. Parking is always plentiful just around the corner.
