The Glen was packed on a Saturday night n the only place that didn’t have a wait was 1800 Cut. Not busy at all at 7pm on a Saturday. Good for us, not for them.
Obviously short staffed. 1 girl up front dressed in a hoodie with a scrunchy in her hair n the other obvi owner/manager. Didn’t feel welcomed at all. Felt like we were a bother. Super uncomfortable.
Food was less than mediocre at best.
Didn’t have dessert. Just ice cream n some mochi that was “in the house”. I know why. It tasted like it was old.
The place has potential. Place is beautiful! Food n service need work.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Look for the “v” on the menu. Some vegan options “vg” on menu.
Dietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free options.
Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu. But lots of kids’ options on reg menu as well.

Service was not good. Ordered lobster appetizer that you had to search for the actual lobster. They were so slow so no reason for bad service. Empty glasses and finished app stayed on our table for sometime. Waitress Cleary never waited tables before and stood at the table while we closed out our check. It's expensive to go out these days. I'd rather spend $160. At Blufish down the street.

Absolutely the worst place in the Glen, stay very far away!!!! There is a reason why its empty all the time you walk by.
Came in with my fiance the other day and it was completely empty, but we decided to try something new for once. Ordered the margarita flight and it was 3 very mini shot sized drinks which were watered down. Second the Baos we ordered were terrible and cold and filled with mostly fatty meat. The fried rice was dark brown, looked old or over cooked or too much soy sauce. The final meal which was check wings had PURPLE ON THE INSIDE OF THE MEAT! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!! PLEASE STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND JUST GO TO YARD HOUSE OR EL TRADICIONAL!
ON TOP OF THE CRAPPY FOOD THE WAITER WAS TERRIBLE AS WELL AND SEEMED LIKE HE DIDNT WANT TO BE THERE.

I was expecting raw eel not cooked or torched additionally the salmon sushi roll was not made well I will be requesting a refund when I have time to make it back there. Personally I feel if a sushi roll isn’t made well who knows your entire operation can be unprofessional. Consuming raw fish, should be from respected and trusted sources idk if 1800 cut restaurant is one of them.

We visited this place on a nice warm evening, and were surprised that there were practically no guests, however, the reason became clear very soon. We waited for food extremely long time, miso soup was just water, the prices disproportional to the quality. I would not recommend this place at all.

I’m not one to leave reviews but with how poor the service was, I have to. I also am not picky when it comes to restaurants, even if the restaurant is mediocre, I’m still satisfied. This place failed on multiple levels. The amount of time we waited and the amount of things they forgot is beyond me. No one really looked like they knew what they were doing. No wonder the restaurant was empty on a Friday night. I will still give some credit where it’s deserved. Some of the items tasted good and the atmosphere is great! But for me, I will not be returning.
What a hidden treasure for amazing food, ambiance and experience. We were surrounded by open fire, cocktail bar, romantic seating and service that was stellar. The food choices were out of this world. Who else wants to try the ribeye in a cast iron plate with a spider roll? Mouth watering DELISH! Go support this local establishment.
