I love the food, as a vegetarian it's hard to find options when eating out and this place delivers. The prices are high, but the portions are decent. My only suggestion would be not to charge extra for a little extra sauce. It ruins the experience and I don't know if you gain anything by doing that.

I had the mushrooms wonderland, a small salad, and mango lemonade. Everything was great. I will be back to try something else. I didn’t have reservations the restaurant was very crowded only one table available but i didn’t have to wait. Owner was extremely nice also. Vegan gem in chicago area for sure.

Fun to have a local Vegan restaurant. Innovative food choices, I look forward to see next month's specials. Great looking desert choices, but I did not try.

WOW!My daughter and I had the supreme pleasure of dining at Alice and Friends, last night. The food and service were extraordinary! I can’t recommend it highly enough. Also, you don’t have to be vegan to love this restaurant. If you want layered flavors and seek to moan with delight with each bite, this place is for you!!!

To say I was excited when I found out that an Alice & Friends location was opening in the town I live in is an understatement. I had been meaning to go to their location in the city but you know how that goes. I can't wait to eat my way thru this menu. Tonight we started with the mango lassi, tropical iced tea, agedashi tofu, and rainbow roll. I had the Noble Burger with cheese and French fries and my boyfriend had the chow mein. I was too full for dessert but there's always next time!If I could give 4.5 ⭐ for service I would. We were seated quickly but then they seemed to forget about us for a while. After we ordered, the staff was more attentive.Vegetarian options: Menu is actually vegan and any potential allergens are noted.

Alice and Friends has THE BEST kung pao I have ever had anywhere. Period. Great flavors, many vegetables, and a delicious protein with crunchy outside and tender inside. I made my own kung pao the week before our visit. Even though we all loved mine, we all agreed this was far better. I love their satay appetizer, too. It has great flavor, texture, and a good peanut sauce. We have had their potstickers too, also very tasty. The wonton soup is very good too. It comes in a large bowl chock full of vegetables and wontons with a good flavor. It could be a meal. Desserts are always great. Last night we had tres leches. My wife doesn't normally like such desserts. She raved today about last night's tres leches dessert. We have had other desserts there, too, and always enjoy them. Strongly recommend a reservation if you plan to arrive between 5pm and 6:30pm, else you might be waiting awhile for a table.

Great food! Friendly staff. Everything we tasted are so good we would come back. I wish there are more restaurants like this. We need more restaurants like this. It doesn't only take care and promote good health, it also takes care of our Earth.

I literally could sing the praises of Alice and friends all day long. We're long time fans and always traveled over an hour to get to the Chicago location, so when we found out that they were opening a suburban location it's an understatement to say we were excited.I am vegan and have been for 12 years, my husband likes to call himself "vegan adjacent" in that he eats 99% vegan but will still eat animal products in certain situations. This is the favorite restaurant for BOTH of us. We have literally never left here feeling anything other than satisfied; we usually get several appetizers, a main, and a dessert to go and have never had anything that we didn't enjoy. Our favorites are the crab rangoon, blissful joy, ramen, kingwhich, and walnut shrimp. The Tom Kha noodles are also to die for.I literally cannot say enough good things about the food and staff at Alice and friends.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegetarian since it's a vegan restaurantDietary restrictions: Very clearly marked dietary and allergen menuParking: The glen shopping center has plenty of free parking

Everything was so delicious & I love the fact that all of the allergens are marked on the menu to make it easier for those with allergies to soy / gluten etc. The Thai iced tea & tiramisu cake were my favorites.

WE HAD A FEAST!Was here for a family birthday party and I’m pretty sure we ordered the whole menu as a group. The owners are so sweet and the service was great!I’m not vegan but do generally enjoy vegan food.I primarily the appetizers (dumplings, Rangoon, satay, drumsticks, agedashi tofu) which were all delicious. The mango lemonade is the reminiscent of a mango lassi- I could have a whole gallon of it.The entrees I tried were the Kung pao ding, chow mein, noble burger, and walnut shrimp. The king pap ding was spot on! The chow mein was a thin noodle stir fry- good but my husband said could use more flavor (he added the Kung pao sauce). The walnut shrimp was sweet and tangy!Ended the night with the carrot cake. Perfect balance of sweetness for me- not overly sweet.Come with an open mind, palate and belly! Definitely a hidden gem of glenview. Will be back for more!Dietary restrictions: Fully vegan! Please call the restaurant prior. We were told if we were bringing a cake for a birthday, it needed to be vegan as well.Parking: Lots of free parking but the Glen is often busy so may need to park in the garage
