This place is so bomb! The owner is a magician in the kitchen has numerous house made dishes, house made wing marinades and a variety of options. The customer service is phenomenal, you also receive gloves to eat your wings with! Speaking of WINGS! Please try these and the dumplings. We also tried Beef Bulgogi tots which were also awesome. The texture is crispy and tender! Absolutely loved the garlic wings and we tried the pepper wings they were a little too spicy for us but a spice lover will devour! I would definitely go out of my way to eat here again. The atmosphere is super chill and the place has an awesome decor theme.

I was looking for a late night bar that also had food and stumbled upon this place called BDG in Glenview.
As soon as I walked in, I was instantly welcomed by the owner, Jun. I had actually called in advance to ask if they were still open and he actually remembered that I had called. I was there by myself and it was a busy bar area with one seat and when I sat down, Jun immediately made me feel welcome, got me my drink, which he poured extremely generously, all the while multitasking conversations with numerous patrons at the bar. The entire environment gave off such a homie vibe and even someone like me that came by myself felt welcome.
I saw some customers eating food, specifically Korean Fried Chicken and Loaded tater tots that looked fantastic. I ended up ordering some Garlic Chicken Wings and an order of their Loaded Tater Tots and added bulgogi beef to it. The entire menu is concise and features options for just about anyone, intuitively intertwining Korean favorites with Americanized twists. The customizations that I saw some customers get really made me think about all the different things I want to try in the future at this place. When my food came out, I was flabbergasted by the sheer amount of food and the large trays that it came in, with food just encompassing the entire trays. The loaded tots were a mountain filled with generous portions of tots, melted cheese, green onion, kimchi, jalapeños and a generous about of juicy bulgogi beef. I dug into this cornicopia of food and was amazed at the flavors and freshness of the chicken and the ingredients used in everything.
Aside from Jun’s amazing customer service, charismatic personality, and overall amazing attitude, he truly made a newcomer feel so welcome and well taken care of that I felt compelled to write this review on the spot.
Around every wall, corner and surface, you can see so much passion from the owner in the art selection of the wall paintings, to the figurines of anime, animals, and various sports/neon signage. Even the men’s bathroom was filled with marvel related art work that had me mesmerized.
Even when I got done with my food, which I still had huge portions left, easily enough for Lunch and Dinner the next day, Jun was kind enough to box/bag everything for me, along with topping me off for my drink and even offering me to take a shot with him. I truly have not had this level of service from any late night bar I have ever visited and it’s profound because this one person was single handedly managing every aspect of the bar, as well as the preceding tables in the establishment.
I can genuinely say that because of Jun and his charismatic, friendly personality, extremely attention to detail and passion shown in his business, and his top tier customer service and welcoming demeanor, I will happily come back and also recommend this place to all my friends/family.

I’ll give one star since zero is not an option. extremely rude. Made fun of my friend’s appearance to HIS FACE. The customer service is absurd and unacceptable. this is a pub not fine dining. There is no need to restraint the customer’s movement e.g. tell them where to sit, supervise them.

I was very disappointed with my first visit. I thought it would be a good experience because the lights were such a vibe, but not until the owner’s dismissive behavior came across as rude towards my friends and I. I noticed he picked at us. We waited for an hour for our food which we only ordered a single meal for the three of us. Which totally felt so targeted considering something already was stirring the cup beforehand. I understand running a business is hard, but professionalism can go a long way in creating a more welcoming atmosphere, and who knows, maybe we wouldve came back if the owner wasn’t so hostile and unwelcoming.

Experience was terrible. I’ve never had an experience like this from a restaurant owner. The owner should set themselves to a higher standard if they want returning/loyal customers. Very hostile treatment from the ‘owner’ . We waited 15 minutes for the menu because apparently they only had 1-2 menus. We waited an hour for the food which we only ordered a set of korean chicken and some potatoes. Definitely not worth the wait considering it wasn’t that crazy busy when we arrived. The owner picks and chooses who they wanna be good at. Too bad lol
The chicken I had here, might just be some of the best chicken I think I’ve ever had. The way that it has a slight crisp, yet glazed on the outside, and melts in your mouth. The spicy octopus dish, wild rice, and tteokbokki was also great and hit the spot. The owner Jun is also extremely kind, even if you haven’t drank in years, he finds a way to craft a drink you’ll be sure to like.

As a 27 year old mother of 2, I want to grow up to be just like June. I have never in my life received more excellent service! He was funny, kind, helped with my 2 children, showed me how to eat certain dishes, gave a mini history lesson, all around phenomenal!
