Hidden gem! It's tucked away inside the golf course, so not many people seem to know about it, but the food is outstanding — the homemade pastas were absolute dynamite.
The place was enpty. The waitress was not very responsive, both my friends spaghetti & my chicken Parmesan were so spicy we could hardly eat it. When we told the waitress she didn't really seem to care much. Needless to say I won't be going back.
Service is very good and food was delicious .large groups made it a little noisy but overall very nice
The food and staff were absolutely amazing. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff was lovely and accomodating.
I returned to Coarse Italian with my kids and discovered what makes this place special. The Spaghetti and Meatballs, with hearty homemade pasta and savory meat sauce, had everyone smiling. We also shared the delightful Whipped Ricotta Bruschetta—cream cheese topped with fig jam and honey—that’s evidently one of their most beloved dishes. Warm service and a family-friendly vibe made our second visit just as comforting as the first.

Eggplant parm was large and good but small salad was $9 and only had lettuce some tiny chopped tomatoes and celery very disappointing. No side pasta which always comes in most Italian restaurants
The perfect spot on a cooler summer evening. Waitress (Kiki) was a breath of fresh air, so pleasant and vibrant.
The service was excellent. The appetizer and salad was wonderful. Not so much with the main dishes. The pasta was a sticky ball of dough. We asked for a marinara that wasn't supposed to be spicy- but it was very spicy. Not worth the high prices.
Had an awesome Saturday evening meal with my girlfriend. The atmosphere and summer time vibes on the golf course were excellent, moscato and coarse crusher were delicious and service by our server Dani was excellent. Had the calamari, short rib gnocchi and rigatoni with sausage and burrata. Highly recommend!

Coarse Italian recently hosted our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner. The staff and food were great! Shout -out to Fidel Spears, the General Manager, for working with us on the planning and making it such a memorable event. They were easy to work with and very accommodating. All the guests seemed to really enjoy themselves.

We had a party of 5 and the service was fabulous 👌
Thought I'm not sure which dish was best out of the 5 ordered. Each was unique in taste and spectacular in flavor.
But what made them each unique was the homemade noodles!
Thank you for a wonderful first time in. We loved it!!
Looking forward to our next visit ❤️

Slow service during a reception. Courteous servers however. It mainly serves golfers and visitors at the Glenview park district golf course . Peking is good and club is readily accessible. Bar server is a good singer.

Unfortunately this place really under deliver. We were looking forward to check it out for over a year and when we did, none of the meal tasted right. The staff were great and kind but food didn’t deliver. Great view and good drinks.

The food was very good. The prosciutto fig pizza was excellent. My eggplant parmigiana was delicious! Wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive.
I had pasta with sausage and barata very good and a wedge salad also good. Fried calamari appetizer was a little greasy. Service was very good and friendly
