Chef Jeff, with a sad review of our Easter brunch experience it was a small menu we ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with eggs and bacon for my wife I don't eat pork. I asked for a substitute of cottage cheese, I was told it was an Italian restaurant and we don't have that here. So I asked for fruit instead he said we don't have any fruit. So we are waiting for our food 30 minutes goes by so my wife asked to speak to the manager. And then the manager comes out with food that isn't what we ordered it was eggs and sausage with potatoes so we ran out of potatoes I go I did not order that food . He said he would bring me out or correct order. In the meantime the waitress is behind the bar taking out her hair clips running her hands through her hair shaking her hair shaking her head and then puts her hair back together does not wash your hands and continues to serve other customers. The manager comes back with our food and I said to my wife where is your eggs she goes right here I go I can't even see your eggs on the plate and I said we're paying $16 for three silver dollar pancakes and looks like a scoop of eggs on a plate I said no thank you and we got our deposit money back that we had to give $50 for to reserve our reservation which was a joke by the way. So I told the manager I was disgusted by what I had seen with the waitress running her hands through her hair and not washing your hands is totally unacceptable and disgusting. We received a refund and we had to go somewhere else to get something to eat especially on Easter Sunday when you make a reservation and the service is poor they all looked like they had been thrown down a hill because they were slammed after church services got out. If they're serving poor brunch then the rest of their menu is for as well I will not be returning ??

Our foursome shared the wings and ricotta bruschetta. Both were delicious. I had the chicken parm and it was a generous portion and very tasty. Others had salmon, the prosciutto and fig jam pizza and all were very flavorful. Service was great. The staff is always very friendly. We had a great night!

Decided to try here for dinner on a week night in winter. Only 2 tables were occupied, but the staff and kitchen could not have been more welcoming and professional. They did a fine job explaining dishes we had questions about and made delicious recommendations for all courses. The homemade pasta was incredible! Absolutely loved our meal and the excellent service we enjoyed. Look forward to trying this place during the busier summer months. What a treat!

Food was excellent, server was average, they charge 5.00 for a small bread basket with a mini oil and cheese...like 1"x1" square which is ridiculous! Wine glasses were small pours. Food shined though...grilled caesar, brociole and carbonara were excellent...Glenview priced....2-3 overpriced. Small menu Basic ambiance

Loved everything about our first time experience at Coarse! Don't know why it took us so long to discover it. Homemade pasta was the draw and they did not disappoint. Lovely atmosphere-small and intimate. Ready for next visit-soon!

Went there on Tuesday night. The place was completely empty. That should be a red flag. But we decided to give it a try. We ordered a few appetizers and a soup. The food was very mediocre and not what it claimed to be on the menu. Disappointing for an Italian restaurant in a great Glenview location.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, quite literally. I had no idea if I was in the right place as I drove into the Glenview Golf Course. I was, and was rewarded with a wonderful meal. The room itself is rather nondescript but nice enough, and the sound level was perfect. In the daytime or nice weather, the view and the patio would be lovely. The food was just terrific. We shared the eggplant stack, which was as good as it gets. The eggplant was breaded and fried perfectly, and the red sauce was exceptional. The whitefish was also delicious and was beautifully plated. The pappardelle was made with fresh made pasta and the bolognese, again, really good. We can't wait to go back.

Coast is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in north shore. I had started to give up hope after moving here from NyC in 2021; coast has renewed my excitement!! Even my husband - who doesn't really care about food - LOVED his short rib pasta dish! The kids menu is also extensive and very delicious. I got the nightly special - chicken calabrese. It lasted for two leftover meals and I'm depressed it's gone. I plan to go back every time they have the chicken calabrese special - true authentic delicious Italian. Coast stay a hidden gem in glenview!!!!
