Loved the food variety. There were only 3 at our table, so we couldn't try too many entries . Next time I plan to go with larger group so I can taste some more of Ema's interesting selections.

I've had a great experiences the four times I've been there before last night. Last night, they seemed to be a bit off their game. The service was extraordinarily slow on both drinks and food, and we were overcharged on the bill. They did correct the mistake, but didn't offer to comp anything. I'm sure they charge a lot for drinks as people pay it, but it's getting ridiculous.

The wait staff was awesome. The food was so good and perfectly timed. The service was great never too much of a disruption but always ready to be of service. Our waiter was extremely intelligent with the menu along with the wines. A truly great experience!

Really enjoyable restaurant. Decor is beautiful, food is high quality. Noise level is high, prices are on the high side

Absolutely everything that we ate was delicious! My only point of feedback would be that pacing of food was very fast. We were challenged to consume dishes before we had to make room for the next ones that arrived!

My husband and I went for date night on wendnesday night. Was it my high expectations? We had hamachi & charred avocados, truffle salmon, sweet corn hummus, Brussels spouts & honey crisp salad, braised beef short ribs, slow cooked lamb pot roast. Our favorite was hamachi & charred avocados. Even though sashimi were very thinly sliced, I still tasted the hamachi and lychee gave that extra texture and avocados balanced the buttery flavor. Truffle salmon, crisp roasted garlic, chive, leaks gave smoky flavor made the dish taste almost like smoked salmon, but couldn't really taste salmon and garnish was just too over powering for such a rich flavor fish. Sweet corn hummus, just tasted basic with sweet corn, nothing special about it. Brussels sprout salad, it's just too much of raw hard textures, with dressing just tasted regular store bought fruit salad dressing. Both dinner entrée wasn't tender enough, both short rib and lamb needs to be much more tender to be called braised or pot roasted in my opinion. It almost tasted dry. Overall foods were 3 stars

Dessert, we got honey cake and sticky date cake. They both were 5 stars. Sticky date cake was still fluffy and moist inside and top was toasty and crunchy like brulee. Not too sweet and had that subtle date texture and flavor. Honey cake, I love how I tasted fresh warm honey and not to sweet but enough sweet. I would come back here just for the desserts and the atmosphere. Because their desserts so good, maybe having a good tea menu would be nice to pair with.

All ingredients were very fresh, salad was very good but each dish is consistently mediocre, use of salt - too salty or flat, over cooked hard burnt edge, hamachi was sliced too thin to even pick, and torn. For a dish that has less number of pieces than the number of people at the table, add extra if it meant to be shared and charge it at a prorated price.

Heard a lot about this place, being a second location for a place in the city. I was very excited to come by, but when I got here, it took 10 minutes of waiting before we could order drinks, another 10 before we could order, and a 45 minute wait for just a salad. I am here now, and I’ve been here for over an hour, and we haven’t gotten our main entrees yet. Such a shame. Beautiful interior, mediocre service, and the food is just ok. Until they fix the wait times and the lack of professional service, I will not be coming back. Credit where credit is due, they made sure our food allergies were taken care of, but that’s about it.

Ema will be added to my go to list when I'm craving for Mediterranean food! Restaurant was easy to find and there is plenty of parking in their parking lot.

Ambiance is amazing at the restaurant! Trendy and upscale feel with a hint of modern vibe. Perfect for client lunch/ dinner, and date night!

They also have a private dining room area in the back if you want to host a big party.

Our party ordered mimosas to start. We each picked 2 dishes to share and that was more than enough for the 3 of us.

Hummas with lamb ragu, Moroccan onion dip, Broccoli Florets, Crispy Potatoes , Chicken Kefta Kebabs and Faroe Islands Salmon Kebab were all very delicious!

The Hummas with lamb was very tender. Onion dip is a bit on the heavy and sweet side. Broccoli was very crispy and flavorful. Crispy potatoes are exactly what it sounds like. Just, crispy potatoes. Between the two kebabs, the salmon was my favorite. Very tender and perfectly seared. Paired very well with basmati rice!

They do add a 3% surcharge to the bill. You can have that surcharge taken off prior to paying.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the cozy atmosphere made it even better. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the Japanese sweet potato spread, octopus, salads, and chicken kebabs—everything was full of flavor. The kids had a great time too and really enjoyed their kid-friendly meals. It’s definitely a spot we’d recommend for both adults and families!

I live in France, passing through Glenview.
I had the chance to discover with my sister and a friend this
superb restaurant!

I loved it!
The decoration, the greenery, the warm atmosphere.
And above all the freshness of the dishes and their presentation!
A pleasure for the eyes and for the mouth.
We had a blast!
Recommended!
