Great sandwiches and unique, gourmet food items! Terrific selection of snacks & desserts, too!

Great selection of delicious snacks and pre-made food. Offerings change daily. This is the go to place for apps and light fare when planning to host company. High quality ingredients, so prepared to spend a little more.

I really enjoy food shopping at Foodstuffs in Glencoe. I live in Northbrook and it is definitely worth the drive. Foodstuffs offers many meal choices. My opinions are below, including a few of my favorite things. Salad counter - I can get a salad made by choosing from over 30 ingredients like beets, red peppers or black beans. Foodstuffs will also chop and mix my salad. My salad is always delicious - and healthy! Seafood counter - They have a terrific seafood counter where they offer fresh fish and cooked fish. My favorite is the salmon. Sandwich counter - They have a counter where you can request a variety of sandwiches. My sandwiches always taste fresh. My favorite is the turkey cobbler. Dessert counter - They have a dessert counter with new desserts each day. Every so often, I treat myself to a delicious dessert. They have so many tasty treats that it is hard to find a favorite. Besides the above, they offer soups, entrees and much, much more. The store has a nice neighborhood feel. The staff is quite friendly and courteous. I really appreciate being able to go to Foodstuffs in Glencoe.

Great deli and dessert counter. Prepared foods a little pricey, but taste great. Personable staff.

Good food and the nicest staff around.

Was extremely disappointed in the pie that I purchased for Thanksgiving! Perhaps we were the only ones but the topping was extremely hard and the taste was off! Ample amount of apples for sure but texture- taste- and that flavor you desire was not there!

Tuna is good- bought a few things that ended up expired when I got home not happy about that

I love their Valrona chocolate pudding - rich, dark chocolate flavor.

No more indoor eating, but seven tables and two benches are located in the shade just outside the front door. Things can be pricey ($4.99 for a single wrapped Cubs or Sox decorated cookie, for example), but the food is delicious. There's a sandwich bar, a salad bar, a cheese case, and freezer with soups, appetizers, main dishes, etc.). The stars of the show are the bakery and deli cases. The bakery goods are not made on site (baking is done at the Evanston location). There's plenty of parking for the strip mall, Carillon Square, and easy in-and-out access with a traffic light at Waukegan Road. Please see my earlier review (June 16, 2016) for more details.

Do yourself a favor and go pick up their housemade spicy humus immediately. That paired with their falafel and the sautéed cauliflower and broccoli is one of the best lunches around. And all made locally with love.

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood it is to visit Foodstuffs or order take out from them. They now offer Stans Donuts which makes for a memorable experience if you have guests or family or kids visiting from college and they haven't had the chance to try Stans due to its high demand and popularity. I went to a Speakeasy where they did cocktails and Stans, honey it was a blast! But back to the business of best for the best, The Easter is here and the snow has melted, so come warm up with the amazing variety of Easter goodies and gifts as well as all the limited while supplies last foodie goodies from this charming place.
