Great vibes. The chicken was some of the crispy crunchiest I have ever had. Love to see a late night korean eats spot. We visit this area yearly or so from out of state, this is a new spot that deserves more attention!

After checking into a local hotel quite late (9:30 pm) after missing a connecting flight at O’Hare, we were looking for a place for dinner that we could walk to, was open and wasn’t fast food. Funbeerking was perfect and…fun! They are open until 1 am on weeknights. It’s apparently a traditional Korean gastro pub, maybe even a chain from Korea. The food was terrific - we had the K-spiced boneless chicken and the bulgogi pizza on pastry crust and both were super yummy. The service was also attentive and nice and they had K-pop videos playing on a big screen throughout. Very very fun and highly recommended!

Went to FunBeerKing after a long day riding. Ordered bulgogi with glass noodles, and meal hit the spot. Also my server Jerry was very pleasant and attentive, which made my whole experience extremely satisfying. Will be coming back

There were no customers, but they didn't welcome us. The expressions were the faces they just wanted to go home. No matter what I asked, they didn't know anything properly.

The egg mayo chicken here is absolutely amazing! The crispy texture, combined with the rich egg mayo sauce and spicy peppers, is just perfect. I order it every time I come—this is already my third visit! This time, I also tried the new gopchang jeongol and snowflake donkatsu. The gopchang jeongol wasn’t really my thing, but the snowflake donkatsu was incredible. And their pizza? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had! Surprisingly, it wasn’t too crowded during dinner, which I don’t get—this place is a total hidden gem. Honestly, one of the best spots I’ve been to!

We had great time. Food was unique. Korean chicken dishes were authentic. Beer tower was such a nice deal. Only downside is music was too loud. We have been to many other Korean bars that have loud music, however here music was louder.
I wanted to grab some korean fried chicken and drinks over the weekend, and I thought the cold weather would keep people away, but the place was packed with no seats available;;;; So I had no choice but to get it to go and ended up having chicken and pizza at home.(best in town btw) Actually, it tasted just as good as eating there.
