this review is for one item only at The Glenview House...the three beef burger. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to review a burger, but this one was so outstanding it deserves a shout out. Size, texture and flavor were all perfect. I have eaten burgers all over Chicagoland, but am not sure if I've ever had a better one. Absolutely worth a trip to Glenview if just for this wonderful burger,

I enjoyed the Beet salad. The grilled cheese with bacon, fig and grilled onions on sourdough bread was really good. The people that worked there were very nice and definitely would go back, , cute place.
Glenview house is hands down one of the best spots in Glenview. My server, Dawson, was incredibly kind and gave the best recommendations. I had the pretzels for an appetizer and the Italian beef dip as an entree. Chef Jeff makes hands down the best homemade BBQ sauce (make sure to ask for a side to go with your fries). All the food was incredible. The food mixed with the great drink selection and the atmosphere made for a great night! I will most definitely be back!

Our server was very friendly and attentive. We felt the food just mediocre at best. Wrong soup brought to me originally but the broccoli soup was very good. But then I had a hair in my mushroom flatbread (a long hair) which kind of ruined my dining experience. My order was replaced but by that time we had to leave as we had theater reservations. Will not be back.

If your from Glenview nothing is better than Glenview House; if you've not been in years it got a face-lift. A great date night option or a fantastic place to enjoy your time with your people.The drinks, apps, main dishes & desserts are an added bonus. Luke P was an absolute pleasure to have as our server. From the time I sat down Luke went out of his way to make sure our party had a pleasant time. Definitely ask for Luke & enjoy your time at Glenview House.

Nice people, service is well-intentioned if not always attentive. Food menu is limited and, having been here a few times because it is in my hood, nothing to write home about. Back patio, when it is open, is pleasant if it isn't too hot, but overlooks a parking lot and train tracks. Front patio is on Glenview Rd if you like looking at traffic when you eat, but, unfortunately, this is not uncommon in Chicago/Burbs. Ok pub food and bar for a change of pace but not on my recommended list.

They were busy so waited a while for things we requested. Also, I had to find them to take care of the check. It wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't have my baby with me. Otherwise, good great, love the live music, just a fun casual atmosphere. Kids loved it too

We sat at a high top table in the main area by the bar and it was an awesome atmosphere. The service was outstanding and the crafted drinks superb. The food was excellent!! We had the Chicken Sandwich and the BBQ Pork Sandwich. This place is of our favorites, very friendly and comfortable - we'll be back!

Food was delicious! Sat outside on the back patio and trains go by frequently. That was expected! Our waiter was great and just felt bad that they weren't busier. The open faced salmon was outstanding and my friend had the pulled pork sandwich. Definitely will go back!
