So I made a reservation here for my mothers birthday today, March 1st, and I made it for 11 people, and I did it about 3 weeks in advance. Well when I showed up it was closed for renovation, idk if something happened and they needed to fix it up but a simple phone call could have been nice so we didnt have to waste our time showing up. We had a tight schedule because we had a show after dinner, so it would have been nice. I get that things happen, etc, but they took my number down and everything.

We made a reservation for a special occasion dinner on Saturday, February 22nd at 6:00 PM. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, we found no cars in the parking lot and two large dumpsters by the front door. A note on the door stated that they were temporarily closed due to a water main break. The reservation was made the previous Tuesday. It would have been appreciated if the management had informed us that the restaurant would be closed, which would have allowed us to make alternative plans for our special occasion. This was our first visit to the restaurant. However, due to the lack of communication, we will not be returning or recommending it. The experience was very disappointing.

I have eaten at Gusto many times. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. It isn’t the best Italian food we have had, but the location is convenient and prices are fair. The new owner, Conrad, is friendly and approachable. I was last there on Feb. 8 with a friend. I had veal parm and my friend had lasagna. I had a creamy zucchini soup that was very good. We shared the fried calamari that was fine. All of the food, including dessert, could have been a bit warmer, but otherwise was good and plentiful. We were surprised and very disappointed that the warm garlic rolls, which are delicious, have been replaced with plain French bread that was not warm and was stale. We would have paid extra to have the warm garlic rolls. I also noticed that we were charged from $1 to $2 more for both entrees and the appetizer than what was listed for these items on the menu and online. I did not check the prices for our desserts or drinks. Assuming that prices have been raised, the in-house and online menus should reflect the actual prices being charged.

We had a wonderful experience tonight. The new owner of 3 months, conrad greeted us with no reservation and sat us right next to the DJ! Lucky us to have met Rowdy Ron, who, at 85 made our evening so much fun! He is amazing with all his cds, books of songs, and knowledge. What a gem. Our dinner, service and overall experience was great. We wish new ownership good luck and we shall return to listen to whatever Rowdy Ron wants to play!

Called well over a 1.5 weeks to place a small take out order for Christmas eve. Was told I cannot place an order then but to call before 3 pm on Christmas eve to order as staff will be there before they open. I tried to call the day before to put the order in only to speak with a rude manager who refused to take and order because they are already overwhelmed. The restaurant clearly could have taken my order sooner and now would not accommodate. I will refuse to ever dine here after they nearly ruined my Christmas eve dinner with my family.

We loved this restaurant. The food was very fresh and they delivered it perfectly with all of my modifications (I have a lot of food allergies and preferences.) servings were substantial. we were there on a Saturday night in November 2024. We Reserved in advance and were seated upon arrival. We will definitely go here again. Definitely make a reservation in advance. It is very popular and though it has a large dining area, it was full.

It has been years since we had last been to Gusto Italiano. So long that the last time we were there, Gusto was at its previous location. However, we decided to check them out a couple weeks ago and there were several in our party. The newer place was nice: old wood, high ceilings, the place looks nice. Service was pretty decent too.

And that's about it. The food was seriously bland. I ordered the gnocchi with bolognese and meatballs. No flavor anywhere. Nothing had any flavor. A little oregano, a little garlic powder, maybe a little pepper. There just was no flavor to my dish at all. And I'm not the only one who felt this way. Everyone had flavor issues with their meals. The flavor was absent and in its place was either nothing or salt.

Another friend was there last week and had the same issues.

With so many options around for Italian, Gusto really needs to step up their flavor profiles or people will go elsewhere, like I will.

We had an amazing catered lunch for 85 people to celebrate our company employee appreciation days. Chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes, eggplant parmesan, pasta, Italian salad, bread, cannoli.
It was all so delicious. And such generous portions.
HIGHLY recommend them!!
