Today we visited this place for the first time and we were delighted. Beautiful interior, tasty food, friendly service, and pleasant prices. I will definitely come back again and I recommend it to you as well!

We ate lunch here after shopping at abt. Nice place. Very clean, prices are fair. The service was excellent. I had the chicken club sandwich. It was good, but the chicken could have had a bit more seasoning. I also tried a beer. I cannot recall which one it was. It was okay.

Just relocated to Chicago and this was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the chicken schnitzel w mashed pots and it was delicious! Will def go back. We sat outside bc we had a dog, but it was a very enjoyable evening.

My husband and I love a good pub/craft beer experience. Our friends just moved to Glenview, so we decided to drop the kids off with them and go to Hangar Two nearby. From their website, price point, and photos on Google, it seemed like everything we would be used to for an adult night out. We were celebrating our anniversary.
When we walked into Hangar Two, I immediately panicked. It was LOUD loud. Like sports bar on Sunday loud. My husband pointed out that the restaurant was half full with a kids’ soccer team.
The hostess was very kind and sat us out on the patio (a few other folks were out there, too), and the server did a great job of tending to us even though we were probably far away from his usual section.
The thing is, the patio faces…the parking lot. So instead of a cute outdoor experience, you are literally listening to every human walk back and forth to their car and looking at asphalt.
We ordered our beers and appetizers, and the beer was DELICIOUS. I was very happy with the flight. But then, not even 1 minute later, our steak dinners were served to us. ($35+ per plate steak dinners, that we did not want to get cold). So, we stopped enjoying our appetizers, and we tucked into our dinner.
We had ordered the steaks medium, and they were medium rare. I would rather have them under done than over done, so we just let that be. My tenderloin was from the Oktoberfest menu and came with spaetzle, and it was incredibly dry. I don’t know if it had sat under the warmer lights for a long time, or they are back there microwaving it, or what.
At this time, the entire kids soccer team exited the restaurant, without adults, and just stood next to the patio horse playing and making noise. At one point one kid pulled another kid’s pants down. They were there for about 20 minutes or so until the manager ran them off (I still never saw adults???).
We finished our meal, and I had been looking forward to the dessert. I ordered the brownie, also off the seasonal menu. Folks, I am a choco-holic and LOVE dessert, and I couldn’t even eat the “molten” brownie. It was a dried out cake, with cheap cherry pie topping from a can scooped on top (why???), and the vanilla ice cream was completely flavorless. I had two bites and just couldn’t even power through it.
All that to say, our bill was $130, and multiple items were inedible and the experience was barely tolerable. If you want to come here to drink and watch a football game (with a bunch of children around??), maybe just order some appetizers and you would be fine. Do not waste your money and try to have a nice dinner here.

The food is excellent and consistent, not the case with other Tangled Roots locations. They also have some really good beer. Additionally the seating options are great, especially the covered patio section.

Super great atmosphere. We chose to eat in the sun room, but the main dining room looked very nice as well.
We had the pimento dip appetizer and it was super good! My wife had the chili and cornbread and found both to be great! I had the best of the wurst. I loved everything except the curry sausage. I like curry, but not in this sausage.
Our waiter was great and attentive without being overbearing.
We'd love to return sometime when we're back in the area.

We attended a wedding in the atrium here and the food, venue and bar staff were fantastic. The filet mignon was the best I have ever had.

Great restaurant where craft beer meets craft food. They have a wide selection of microbrews and custom mixed drinks along with a fabulous food menu. The food presentation is one of the best in the area. As far as seating, you have the option to sit in the bar area, at the bar or out on the inclosed patio. The staff is friendly and attentive and the atmosphere reminds me of being on vacation at a beach house.

This place is a gem. Super service, super food, super beer. In fact the best independent brewery beer I can recall trying anywhere in the US in 30+ years - as a British real ale fan, I'm quite picky - so this compliment is hard earned!

They emailed me about st Patrick day special menu at noon. And at 5pm they already ran out of everything and this place is kind of empty.... the sole reason for coming was void. Manager said they were out since the week. The most important day to have cornbeef and they didn't.
They reached out about giving me qgift card to make up for breaking the st Patrick's day tradition. It never came in the mail.... empty promises...... why did they bother
