This place is a gem. Super service, super food, super beer. In fact the best independent brewery beer I can recall trying anywhere in the US in 30+ years - as a British real ale fan, I'm quite picky - so this compliment is hard earned!

They emailed me about st Patrick day special menu at noon. And at 5pm they already ran out of everything and this place is kind of empty.... the sole reason for coming was void. Manager said they were out since the week. The most important day to have cornbeef and they didn't.
They reached out about giving me qgift card to make up for breaking the st Patrick's day tradition. It never came in the mail.... empty promises...... why did they bother

Great place, I had the grilled cheese and barbecue. A little overcooked but was otherwise excellent. The appetizers were superb the service was phenomenal. You won't be sorry coming to Hanger 2!

Food: Fantastic. The Korean chicken & waffles was delightful, and many of the apps were too.
Service: Bad. Multiple people’s orders were wrong, it took 20 minutes to retrieve a to-go box, and the server didn’t know what toast was. He said they only have sourdough, which was patently false. Our party of 20+ was across three tables, but they only provided the ordered apps to 2 of the 3 tables. Lots of room for improvement!!

We just had our 40th high school reunion there, and it was absolutely perfect! We had over 100 people but there was plenty of room to spread out. Caryn and her team were so organized and despite having to work their way through the crowd, kept the food plentiful. The played 80s music for us and allowed us to project a slide show on the TVs. It was a wonderful experience!

I recently hosted my niece’s bridal shower at The Hangar Two, working closely with her and Caryn throughout the planning process. While the event itself was beautifully executed, I was extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism we encountered both during and after the event.
We had a clearly defined and mutually agreed-upon drink menu. However, I later discovered that additional, unauthorized beverages had been added to our final bill. My niece attempted to contact Caryn the following two days (Sunday and Monday) via phone and left a voicemail. After receiving no response, she followed up with an email on Tuesday—again, no reply. It wasn’t until Thursday, after calling the restaurant directly and asking to speak with a manager, that someone finally acknowledged her concern and said it would be looked into.
When she spoke with the manager, he admitted that the charges were not part of our original agreement but insisted the drinks had been consumed and therefore needed to be paid for. This completely ignored the fact that the charges fell outside of what had been pre-approved. After spending over $6,000 on this event, we expected some level of accountability or at least flexibility—especially over a $180 mistake that was not our fault.
She was told Caryn would call her directly. Instead, she received a brief text message stating there was nothing she could do. When my niece asked if Caryn could please call me to help resolve the matter, there was no response and no follow-up.
This lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is deeply disappointing—especially for such a significant and carefully planned occasion. I had much higher expectations from a venue of this caliber and would strongly advise others to get everything in writing and be extremely cautious before booking any event here.
