đđť Hey fellow Google Mappers! âşď¸ This was my first time going to Iron Age location in Glenview, IL. I went with my boyfriend, my parents, my uncle, & my aunt. We went around 11:30 am - 12 pm and it wasnât busy which was awesome. We were waiting for my parents to come, but the waiter seated us.
âď¸ Customer Service: The staff were friendly. We were seated right away. The waiters were awesome about giving us our food and switching out the grill plate when it needed to be switched out.
đ˝ď¸ Food/Drinks: The food was really good! I only had Korean BBQ one other time in my life and I thought it was good, but I think Iron Age may be my go-to Korean BBQ spot.
đ˝ Bathroom: The bathrooms are located towards the back of the restaurant. They were very clean. In the ladies room, there are only 3 stalls.
đď¸ Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at Iron Age at the Glenview, IL location. The staff were friendly, it was clean, & delicious food.

This Korean BBQ joint left me with some mixed thoughts, but overall, it was a pretty good experience. The service was good, the food was good, and the ambiance was nice, making for a pleasant meal. Plus, the prices seemed fair for what you get.
Here's the thing: it wasn't quite the truly authentic Korean BBQ experience I usually look for. They didn't have staples like Kalbi short ribs, and surprisingly, no lettuce wraps for the meat, which is a bit of a bummer for traditionalists. However, I was glad to see they did offer some banchan side dishes to enjoy with the meal, which definitely added to the experience.
While I liked my visit, and everything was solid, I'm not entirely sure what would draw me back for a second visit specifically for Korean BBQ given the slight deviations from what I consider authentic. If you're looking for a good meal with a nice atmosphere, it's worth a try, just manage your expectations if you're a purist!

The only reason this place doesnât have the five stars it deserves is because of the loud music. Other than that, itâs honestly one of the best spots to go. I come here once or twice a month to treat myself and my friends, and we love it every single time.
The meat quality is great, the service is fast, and everything is super tasty. The sides are perfect. I personally prefer the rice cakes over anything else, but thatâs just my preference.
I love this place, and if you havenât tried it yet, youâre going to love it too.

Went to iron age around 10:15pm and said they were closing soon, even though on door and online says closing at 12 am. Fix your closing times if you've changed them

PLEASE change back the rice cake recipe. Iâve been devastated since they switched to frying them. They are hard, cold, and not enjoyable. I canât tell you how often we come here and our (all my friends and family) loved the boiled, warm, saucy, delicious rice cakes that once were!!! It was our favorite part and I used to rave to everyone I knew about how life changing those rice cakes were. Now I have to worn them that they arenât the same as the used to be. Please change it back!

I went with seven friends on a Tuesday afternoon, all of us being adults. Four of my friends are quite large, but the staff seated us at a small table with only one grill. The staffâs attitude seemed unwelcoming from the start, as if they werenât prepared to provide good service. I tried calling a staff member to ask if we could move to a bigger table, but it took a long time before an Asian male staff member approached us with an irritated look on his face. He responded in a rude tone, saying we couldnât move because a larger table was for groups of eight. We understood and asked if we could split into two tables, one with four people and one with three. The staff member replied with a bad attitude, saying it wasnât possible. We then asked him if he was ready to work because his demeanor didnât seem service-oriented at all.
After that, we requested to speak with the manager. When the manager arrived, they looked upset. My friend told the manager that their staff wasnât ready to provide service to us, as the staff memberâs behavior, expressions, and words were rude. My friend started getting angry because the manager didnât seem to care. When my friend raised their voice in frustration, the manager told us to leave the restaurant. I felt very disappointed by this experience. I felt that what we asked for wasnât unreasonable, as it was a weekday and the restaurant wasnât very busy. Even if they couldnât accommodate our request, their attitude should have been better. I understand that customers arenât always right, but we didnât understand why the staff and manager behaved so poorly. They should improve their service before other restaurants with better service open up nearby. After leaving, we drove to BBQ Garden, where the staff was cheerful and ready to serve. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend visiting this place!

A fantastic all you can eat Korean barbecue restaurant! The time limit per table is not an issue due to the very quick and efficient service. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. The choice of meats is good and the quality is as expected. Just make sure you arrive and get your name on the list early!
Parking: Parking lots fills up quick, office parking lot behind the building that is open around dinner time.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking and accessible.
Excellent service from wait staff , she was readily avaible , and was prompt to bring the next dishes to our party of 12. Music from top Various Asian artist on multiple large screens +++ loved it. I'm a fan
