La Michoacana Moderna

This location is best approached as a modern, fusion-style snack and dessert spot, not a traditional La Michoacana street-food stand — and once you understand that, it’s actually a fun experience.

While the name points toward classic Mexican treats, the menu is much broader and global. You’ll find Indian street food, Nepali momos, fusion fries, masala flavors, lassis, aguas frescas, and desserts all sharing the same space. It’s less about authenticity and more about variety and creativity.

The food was very good. The momos were delicious, and the loaded fries were a standout — flavorful, generous, and well executed. Everything we tried tasted fresh and satisfying.

A big plus is that the entire menu is halal, which is rare for this kind of snack-and-dessert concept and makes it especially appealing for families and groups with mixed tastes.

The ambience is simple and casual — more functional than trendy — but the customer service absolutely makes up for it. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely warm, which leaves a great impression.

If you’re looking for pure, traditional Mexican La Michoacana street food, this may not match that expectation. But if you’re open to a modern, multicultural twist with solid food and great hospitality, it’s definitely worth checking out.

They have the best pizza and taco in town. Came 2times, same quality muah😋

This place is phonemenal I bought my friend and sister horchata and they didn’t like it and I went to give it back and instead the worker David gave us a free pizza I honestly believe he deserves a raise and it was so good I love this place and I also go here all the time for icecream and it’s amazing

Competitive prices, great menu, this is very rear nowadays. Love the ice cream. Pretty cool interior. Great place for families.

Waited 25 minutes just for a scoop of ice cream and the workers in the back were just standing there on there phone.

You can’t go wrong with a La Michoancana for ice cream, and this is the best location I’ve been to in the area so far. David was very friendly and helpful recommending flavors. The “Moti” side of the restaurant was very good as well!

Came here for the ice cream and ended up eating the pizza. I can’t believe I’m saying this but Indian food belongs on pizza!

Tikka Pizza with chicken was absolutely mouthwatering. I was considering taking a second one for home. The ice cream was also good but definitely will be coming back here for a nice meal.

We got takeout from here and it was amazing. We got the thin crust paneer tikka and chicken pizzas. We definitely plan on coming back as a family to dine in next time.

Ordered two 8-inch pizzas and was very disappointed in the quality. Stale crust, lack of flavor, tasted like it was reheated pizza.

Also ordered the masala fries and asked for the sauce on the side since it was a delivery and I didn’t want the fries to be soggy. They forgot the sauce and the fries weren’t even salted even though I requested that. The fries were also unpalatable. Stale and flavorless.

The only decent item was the Moti Momos. Generous amount of sauce, flavorful, but nothing spectacular. Wouldn’t order again.

I’ve been to many fusion restaurants and this one is terrible.
