C'mon. It's lalos!!! I've been going here for about 30 years. I remember when my dad would take me here on the last day of school with all my siblings. It was great then, and it's still great now! My dad has passed recently, and going there with my husband and my own children now brings me great memories!

My family was really disappointed. The chicken had no flavor. We ordered queso fundido which was a big coagulated grease soaked cheese, the enchiladas suizas de pollo which was extremely bland, and the sopes with ground beef that also lacked flavor. The only thing with good flavor was the chicken noodle soup. The prices have almost doubled over the last few years. The busser was more attentive to us than our server. We were put in a corner area for lunch that was dark and boring. Sadly, we will not be returning.

This place has gone way down. The good is absolutely awful! The chips are old, not fresh. The salsa and beans are from a can. You can taste the aluminum and that they are definitely not fresh. This place is gross and overpriced. Their prices sky rocketed portions are small and the quality is horrible. STAY AWAY! Not authentic, not fresh, very small portions and extremely over priced. ZERO

Worst mexican food of my life. chicken tasted like shit and hair was in the soup and eyelash hair was on the refried beans, fries tasted microwaved and bland and staff were disgustingly rude. dont recommend going here. OVERPRICED RIPOFF!!!

Update from my previews review given 6 months ago after getting food poisoning at Lalo's. On Valentine's Day evening I decided to give Lalo's another try. Upon my arrival one of the servers who knew me from giving them $20 tip one a less then $50 bill signaled to another who called the owner. Note that I was still at the front waiting for the hostess to seat me. The owner came out and in front of another customer and told me "sorry but you are not welcome here. I appreciate you wanting to eat here but we don't need your business. You cannot stay. I have to ask you to leave." Thankfully I was on the phone with a friend (an attorney) who had been there with me a couple of times. My response was "just because I complained one time?" And his response was "Yes, you complained and you even wrote a review". SOLUTION GIVEN WHEN I CALLED: He was rude on my call but ended up offering a free steak fajitas which I never went back to accept nor do I need any free food. Per my previous review given 6 months ago, you can tell that I myself had forgotten that I had complained for the first time. So to see that they held on to that grudge until today vs being like any successful business owner who wants to maintain, fix their mistakes and regain their customer's trust Lalo's failed terribly. He chose to "payback strategy" like a child. THANKFULLY to my SURPRISE: even Landmark Bar & Grille offers Mexican food made by Authentic Mexicans. Found this place on New Year's Day. What a pleasant surprise! Good food and the service was excellent. Loved the decor. We will definitely be back .I had an Azul margarita. It was delicious.

Food was nothing special but chicken in the chicken noodle soup was pink and raw. I tried one bite and saw there was something off.
Visited on New Year's Day. First time at Lalo's and enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. I ordered a veggie burrito, and it came with rice, black beans, and guacamole. We ordered guacamole at the beginning and received a huge portion. If I knew the burrito came with guacamole, we wouldn't have ordered it as an appetizer. We took most of it home, which I enjoyed the next day. The salsa is a good flavor, but the only thing I would like better would be thinner chips. The chips were good, but I personally like the thinner ones. The burrito was made with fresh vegetables and had a wonderful taste. My wife got the chicken burrito, and she loved the grilled flavor. My wife liked their margarita that was blue and I had a beer. I highly recommend this place for great Mexican food. We will go back the next time we are in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options not on the menu. However, they made one as requested.

We have driven past Lalo's for years and we finally decided to give the restaurant a try today. With family visiting from NJ, we needed to find a place to eat that we could all agree on. We made the best decision to give Lalo's a try today. The restaurant was: warm, full of life, beautifully decorated and clean. The server at our table was very friendly and accommodating too. Fantastic food, friendly service and a great ambiance! We will definitely make Lalo's a regular place to eat as a family!
