Great sandwiches but the business could use some better management. Ordering is needlessly difficult. You can just walk in and pay or call in an order. You have you order online on a website that feels like something from the early 2000's. Sometime you can't even do that and have to text in an order. Honestly, I don't really know how this place stays open. When I first moved here last year my neighbors all praised the sandwiches but warned me that the food is a headache to get, and they were 100% correct. And it would be one thing to offer online ordering, but why not hire professionals to make the website user friendly? And why can't people call in orders if they are already going to take texts? The hurdles for new customers is honestly embarrassing.

Simply the best sandwiches. They have a great way of making really delicious sandwiches. The meats, cheeses, bread and veggies are outstanding and reasonably priced. Fast, friendly and efficient service.

Was ok cheap on the cheese10/04/2021Ok it's not a matter of other opinions its mine and I truly received slice in half and that was broken and I did read your reviews before I went there so my expectation was high

One of the best sandwich shops in the area. They use all the freshest ingredients and meats and you can definitely tell with the first bite. Also the customer service is always superb. My absolute favorite is the Tuscan turkey ciabatta.

Without a doubt the best place to get lunch anywhere in the north shore. The people that work there are extremely outgoing, masters of sandwiches and overall good people. I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience with this Deli.

A local gem for the community! Their passion shows with the pride they have in their Boar's Head products and personal service given to every order. We have been happy customers for years and would double the stars if we could. Ron/Scott

Arrogant snotty owners. Everyone should be treated with kindness, not just people you recognize. Once upon a time, in a location in Evanston, they may have had excellent sandwiches. Now it is a terrible negative place to visit. Their reviews must have gotten to their egos. Shameful.

Unpopular opinion... I was super excited to try this deli as were new to the neighborhood. I walked over with my 6 month old. I opened the door and nobody was in there other than two employees, great! I was trying to hold the door open and maneuver the stroller in without hitting the random empty shelf that's blocking half the door, as I was lifting the stroller and the door was slamming on us, the two employees were just standing there watching. I made a comment and laughed at how hard we were struggling but could not budge the stroller through the small opening. Neither employee tried to help by holding the door open. After a minute of struggling and providing entertainment, we decided to leave because we clearly were not wanted. Safe to say we will not be returning. I can't picture a situation where I saw a mom struggling with a door/ stroller that I wouldn't help in..

Sandwich was excellent. Bread was incredible and everything tasted very fresh. Love their selection of chips, pop, and iced tea. Customer service was incredible. Pickup time was borderline ridiculous in my opinion, however. I ordered one sandwich and the wait was 35 minutes. If the prices went down a little and their efficiency improved, it would be an easy 5 stars. However, I will be going back very soon, and I encourage everyone to support a great local business,

Always the best sandwiches. Top service and family owned. They never disappoint. Whenever I visit my family in the burbs I make it a point to grab sandwiches here. Better than anywhere I have in the city.

Great sandwiches. Simple and tasty. Family owned and operated. Good selection of chips/drinks and they sell par-baked bread and boars head deli meats separately.

What more could you want from an amazing sandwich place? Family owned? Check. Amazing food with great quality? Check. Reasonably priced? Check. Every time I'm in the area I have to stop by. Recommend this place to everyone. My recommendation is get two sandwiches. Get one you pick and do their "wheel of fortune" and get another they make. Have never had a bad experience
