First timers! I can’t say enough good things about the flavor of this food! We ordered chicken/beef quesadillas, el pastor and brisket tacos, a chicken tamale and the plantains. We loved everything!! We will be back!!

The food is great, very tasty.Services you order thru by scanning a QRCode. So i gave service 3 stars cause they bring out the food and don't check in on you at all, so i think they need to improve in that aspect. At least check if you need something or have any questions about the menu.

In general, I like this place. It's in a strip mall, and set back from noisy Waukegan Rd, which is good but it's hard to see as you drive by. There are a few tables and it was empty when I was there. The person who took the order was a bit curt, but no big deal. I ordered chips and guacamole, an abuelas tamale, tostones, and fish and veggie tacos with rice and beans. Latin music surrounds you and I sang along to Gloria Estefan's "Hablemos el Mismo Idioma" while waiting for the food, which came quickly. The chips were warm and the guacamole a little too blended (I prefer a few chunks of avocado remaining). It was surprising how bland it was. I understand letting the customer season to taste so there were 3 squeeze bottles of salsa: verde, roja and even habanero. However, they all tasted the same, that is, they had no flavor at all. By putting them on my food I was just adding moisture. The tamale was simple and good. The tostones, a favorite side dish of mine, were as expected, with a good dipping sauce. The fish tacos were good, however the veggie tacos, mainly undercooked onions with some zucchini, cilantro and a touch of red bell pepper, were uninspiring. And mind you, there was no flavor to be added to these from the salsa, although they were noticeably salty. The rice and beans were also as expected. On my next visit, I would order from among the chips and guacamole, tamale, tostones and fish tacos, just bring my own salsa or hot sauce.
Great food! We opted for take out and everything was ready and hot. We had two taco bowls and a torta. Highly recommended!

13.99 for a burrito is fine. 4 dollars extra for steak??? 20 dollars for a burrito is insane. What’s the 14 dollar burrito then? Just beans and lettuce? Burrito barely had any steak and it taste horrible. Never again.
