I just moved to the area and was looking for a great Gyro. Wow, did I find exactly what I was looking for. Spiro's is authentic, delicious and the owners and staff have tremendous pride in the food they make for their customers. I was set on an Gyro but the owner made me a sample of the Bomber to give me a taste of what I will order on my next visit - the bread was soft, gravy delicious and the beef thinly sliced with tons of flavor. If you are looking for a delicious sandwich or fries, Spiro's is a great spot.

Warning: when you sit down to eat make sure you have napkins. My wife and I always leave this place with our faces decorated when we forget that one step because we can't be bothered to get up to grab some napkins if we forget we are too busy guzzling these delicious dishes down our throats. I was working out in Glenview across the street from this deli. I had a craving for an Italian beef and ended up stopping here and boy did I not regret it. ended up coming back today for a second day in a row on the job for lunch and this is by far the best Italian beef I’ve ever had in my life, the two gentlemen behind the counter were extremely nice and friendly and remembered me by name even though I had only been there once prior definitely will be back next time. I am in Glenview. – Nate

Best sub on the north shore. Nothing fancy and simple. Been a patron for 40 plus years is the usual. Ordered the 3 foot subs for clients for Xmas and filled them up. Thanks Pete a crew

Spiros is a Glenview classic! All of their food is incredible and if you go you’ll be treated like family. I’ve been going since I was a kid and it’s my favorite restaurant in Glenview.

I got a double cheeseburger, my friend got a gyro pita sandwich. They were both good as was the service. The place itself is old and worn. If it were more modern or the prices were cheaper I would add a star to the rating.

Amazing experience!! My husband and I were in the area, wanted to try a local joint. Google pointed us to Spiros. Peter and his staff were extremely welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. Told us about the history or Spiros and recommended some options for us. Peter even made us a Bomber to try!! Which was the BEST sandwich I've ever had!! We will definitely be making the trip out from Cary, IL again! Worth it!
