Apparently this is a location where you order on your phone and pick up your drink . I walked in to not be greeted , I stood there for 5 minutes , and finally wasn’t helped so I asked . Then they tried to tell me to download and app. Like no . I’m good . So I left . How is someone who only has a cash supposed to pay ? Or my grandma who doesn’t have an iPhone . This is super stupid and I stood there like an idiot today waiting for my order tomorrow be taken . I’ll get my matcha elsewhere . Thank you very much

Super disappointed that this location was transitioned to pick up only. And why is the lady at the register so rude? She yelled at a lady for donating her mistakenly purchased coffees to someone else even though she ordered additional of what she actually wanted. Then she proceeded to tell another gentleman not to speak to other customers inside the store even though it appeared they knew each other or worked together. I cannot understand why people work in customer facing roles if they don’t actually like customers…

I visited the northbrook starbucks this morning. I placed my mobile order as i left my house like i always do. No matter what town im in. When i got to the speaker to let them know i had a mobile order. The girl working was unbelievably rude. "If you are going to place a mobile order you cant just pull right up, we need time to make your order" i tried to apologize and explain i live right across the street and i dont mind waiting but she spoke over me and wouldnt let me talk. I tried to ask what the difference would be if i just pulled up and just ordered a coffee? Again she was rudely speaking over me. When i got the window she assured me again it was going to take a bit because i "ordered as i was pulling up"I order starbuck all the time from different cities and states and this is by far the worst experience i have ever had at one. I was astounded at the way that she is allowed to speak to paying customers. Needless to say wont be visiting this location again. Which is a shame considering its directly across the street from me.

I understand automation, it's coffee in a hurry, however there is no human touch at this location. So hurry up and make my coffee, we waited 10 minutes for the hidden factory workers in the back to bring out our order, and the worker- no eye contact no smile No because she's dehumanized. Stop this it's horrible- bring in a robot who has no emotion and empathy- never going back.

Ever since they reopened, their customer service went down the drain. I was mistreated trying to talk to a manager but the manager was nowhere to be found and I was ignore. I'm been shopping at this location everyday for 15 years, never again.

Starbucks has made this location a mobile order only spot. The human being they've hired and paid to be there just asks you to download the app to place an order. However, if you politely ask to just order verbally you can. Is this Starbucks' response to places unionizing? Could not hate this more. I'm 38 and tech savvy but this made me feel like an angry boomer.
