Excellent gluten free bakery! Besides all the sweet treats you'd expect, Sweet Ali's also offers savoury items. Excellent pre-packaged Italian dishes....and THE best chicken pot pie!

I recently had to go GF and was so happy to find Sweet Ali's! We went for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint. We stocked up on a bunch of sweet and savory items and most are gone already! Even my non-GF boyfriend said he'd never guess these are GF items, especially the brownies. We'll definitely be repeat customers.

Sweet Ali's is pretty yummy, actually. (Well, I'm not sure about everything so I need more time to properly review.) I was tempted to give a 2 star because usually I'm one to compliment but I don't have patience for the poor customer service here. They hire young ones who aren't used to treating people properly. Perhaps these teens & college age students should try working at Von Maur for a few days to see how to treat people before working at Sweet Ali's. My advice: 1) act attentive to customers. 2) know you're stuff & be prepared for questions. 3) DONT be rude, nor prideful or "above" the customer. You're there to SERVE, even if you go out of your way a little bit. One girl was QUITE RUDE to me over the phone when I was late to pick up an order. I won't go into details because I don't like to complain. I was left feeling like I would NEVER go back. She really made me feel very bad. And the short amount of time I've been in contact, I've noticed that these young adults don't have a knowledge base on things I asked questions to. I did a LARGE order. I treated them well, smiled and was happy to be there. It wasn't reciprocated. They acted like I was "just another customer", and not nearly as excited to have me there as I was to be there. My order was EXPENSIVE. No discounts, but then I didn't ask for one. It just was really expensive. I asked for individual boxes and they said no. (Mind you, they said it was due to Covid and not able to get as many boxes and to "go buy some at Michael's".) I'll just say it again, customer service IS NOT a priority here. They could keep them stocked by buying them from Michael's themselves, in my opinion. (We own a personal business and customer service is a HUGE priority for us! We would definitely treat someone better for a large order. We go out of our way ALWAYS to make a customer is happy!!) At Sweet Ali's, Gluten free is a priority. The ONLY reason I would go back would be to grab a quick cookie and leave quickly...or send someone else to deal with them. Gluten free is a necessity sometimes, so I would only go out of necessity. So so many more reasons to actually give them a 2 star, but because of the quality of food, I will give them a 3. The food I tasted was great. The staff isn't all-out rude so it's just a mediocre place IMO. Just go WITHOUT expecting high quality customer service...nor hours, even though you're going to be paying HIGH quality money for what you get. The ingredients are actually high quality. The hours are hard to deal with. You will need to take time off work in order to get something or go on Saturday. I'm just giving a review for both the staff, (to step it up), and the customers, (to not expect high quality customer service).

Great gluten free bakery, they even have vegan dairy free options. The cookies and cream fairy free cupcake was awesome! Brownie, and apple streusal cake is amazing!! I'll be coming back to try everything else!

The sandwiches are better than cheaper sandwich places/chains, so the money you're spending is worth it. The bread they sell is very good and their baked goods are worth the calories. Also good customer service.

I usually frequent another gf bakery but after giving Sweet Ali's another go, I am now a solid fan. What sold me was that their pies and cakes which are not too sweet. And it's been so long since I've had a decent pie! Other favorites are the cinnamon buns and every single one of their coffee cakes. There are so many more goodies in this bakery such as breads, pastas and other items. If you're gluten free and missing some desserts, you'll find them here.
