I have been a customer of this cake shop for more than a decade, and I have to say that the freshness of their cake is dropping. Some fruits on the cake are obviously stale fruits, which you can tell easily with naked eyes, especially the strawberries and grapes. And if you come here in the morning, the cakes they sell are actually overnight cakes, NOT freshly made. I came in to buy a green tea cake, and asked the store associate why the cake does not look fresh, the store associate...
It’s a good place to come when wanting something light, or to socialize. The prices are just great too, you can’t get this quality of food with this well of a price at much places nowadays.
The pastries and deserts they have are great. It’s a good balance of sweetness for the desserts, and a good balance of savoriness for the pastries. The prices are just great too, for 4 pastries, and 1 drink I paid just over $20. Usually it would come out to $30+ at other places.
