Whiskey River Bar & Grill

Our band played at Whiskey River on a Friday and we had dinner and drinks there beforehand. Food was excellent, staff was awesome and very welcoming. Really cool crowd with a noticeably wide age range, everyone had a good time.

Very good food and such a friendly atmosphere for all! Patio and pool table are a great bonus 🙌

I've been in a lot of places but since I found this place it is home. Great staff ..Kudos to Ryan for improving the professionalism and to my favorite bartender /server in the world Katie . All the staff are great Jennifer whom I dont see a lot because she is the early shift ...Sophie and Lauren all great people ( hope Im not butchering names ) They have Karaoke on Tuesdays which is my go to . It's always fun with KJ Jen . Outdoor patio and great food options for a bar / restaurant. The people are great and you make friends easily. I cant say enough good things. They even have Hacker Pschorr on tap.

Want to feel like your drinking in line at six flags "the viper"? Want to fight to order over priced drinks? Want to feel the acoustics of the music just fade as you move to the back of the venue? Then this is your new favorite bar.

Whoever themed this place is absolutely nuts. Such a joke.

Disappointing Experience - Not Because of the Bar, but the People There

I visited this bar expecting a typical night of live music and drinks, but unfortunately, my experience was ruined by the behavior of one of the patrons. Right from the moment we walked in, it was noticeable that the majority of the customers were white Americans. Being from a different nationality, one of the guests clearly didn’t like our presence and proceeded to throw out discriminatory comments, making it very clear that they weren’t happy with us being there.

While the bar itself seemed fine, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. I’ve lived in the U.S. for many years and have never felt this level of discomfort and disgust. I would strongly advise anyone who isn’t a local or doesn’t fit a certain profile to avoid this place. There are plenty of better, more welcoming spots to spend your evening.

It’s unfortunate that such places still exist. Don’t waste your time here!

Stopped by on a whim, and was really impressed !!! The service was really great & the food was over the top !!! The cheese curds were the really crunchy kind, and they were cooked perfectly. The chili was really tasty, too. The main attraction was the Meatloaf... a huge slab of tasty homemade meatloaf with corn and mashed potatoes & brown gravy. The portion was enough for 3 meals easily. ? Some of the curds got dipped in the gravy, and it was insanely tasty. When we were there, the School of Rock band played. We just stopped by for lunch and did not expect to see live music. It was heartwarming to see people living out their rock and roll dreams !!!? At 9pm, a Greatful Dead cover band was scheduled to play until 12:30 a.m., bummed we missed that, to be honest. So, to recap: this place is awesome. Do not skip it if you're in the area !!!

Love this place! Live bands, good food, and great service—especially on our last visit when we had Matt as our server—he was so welcoming and attentive to our requests that I felt like a VIP!

We had a beautiful meal in Whiskey River's beautiful garden.

It's run by children. the only adults are rude. the food is very good. the kids behind the bar are sweet and cool. the adults are well unprofessional to say the lest. I recommend this bar if you have already been there. otherwise avoid.
