“I have to admit, some of the reviews I’ve seen here are pretty surprising! In my experience, though, it’s been consistently positive. Every time I’ve visited, my food has been ready on time, hot, and fresh. I’ve placed both in-person and online orders, and both have gone smoothly without any issues.

At this point, I’m starting to wonder if I’ve just been one of the lucky ones. If it helps, I typically stop by on Mondays or Tuesdays for the $0.70 wing specials and occasionally the voodoo fries.

All in all, my experiences have been solid, so I’d say it’s worth giving it a try… just maybe aim for the early-week wing deals to at least save cost.“

Haven’t had Barbecue like this since Alice on 43rd between Wabash and Michigan Ave. Moreover Alice , there’s a new Queen and King of Barbecue. It’s the best! “I had a really great experience at Charley’s. The food was fresh and came out quickly, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The customer service was excellent, especially from an employee named Jasu. Jasu was very friendly, helpful, and made sure my order was right. The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. “I was born and raised in Chicago. Thin crust tavern style pizza is my go to! I moved to Indiana and miss good Chicago pizza. I had Bartolini s shipped via Goldbelly last week. I am BLOWN AWAY!!! “During My first time trying this restaurant, and it was amazing! The staff was outstanding and very professional. I had several questions, and she took the time to answer every single one without ever seeming bothered. I know I probably took up at least five minutes of her time, but she continued to assist me with such kindness and patience.

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“The manager Ashley came up to our table and asked if we had been helped. I told her no she took our order. Great manager!!! Unfortunately the waitress dropped off my food ran and never came back. I waited for a fork napkins and had to request a fork. Which she gave me with no napkins no knife. Ok!! Seemed like she was in a rush the whole time. Then she never came back. I waited for my refill of water and nothing. I got up and went to pay my bill. Really sad just felt dismissed no sense of urgency to help me and my son. “First timer here and I was not disappointed. There was no wait to order. We ordered 3 meals. 2 of them were eaten before we pulled off. We had the salmon paired with the rice and mash.That yellow rice complimented the salmon perfectly. No complaints about anything on the plate. I devoured the catfish, mac and cheese, and candid yams. They were all favorites, cooked to perfection. I don't have the stomach room to try the lamb alfredo but if it's anything like the other 2 meals, I already know I'm going to love it. All in all, it was worth the drive from Hobart, it was worth every penny, ($79), and it was worth the wait time. Consider us friends because I will be back!“

“I ate at this Charleys location for the first time in a while and lemme tell you, this place is amazing!!! Seems like new management because the place is ten times better than when I had it before. I ordered a philly steak cheese fries boneless lemon pepper wings and a strawberry lemonade and everything was ON POINT! The service was great too, the manager i believe his name is Jay was really nice and helpful. I noticed they have milkshakes but i had no room for dessert the food is so filling and worth the money, definently want to try that cookies and cream milkshake next time tho :)

Vegetarian options: They have a grilled veggie sandwich that is delicious!

“I think the apple barbecue boneless wings taste DELICIOUS. That sweetness & seasoning they have on them pair very well with the coolness & slight saltiness of blue cheese and ranch dressings. Really balanced taste compilation. I do think they need to pay more attention to the smaller details like the instructions. I've eaten hear about six or seven times, and I would say four out of those times, I was missing something that I paid extra for. The curly fries taste really good as well. I love me a good curly fry. Most restaurants don't have them except Arby's or something. The curly fries here are top notch. The wing flavors I recommend are the apple barbecue (mild & sweet), spicy pineapple teriyaki (medium, Hawaiian taste), and the honey Sriracha (medium spice) flavors. Will definitely be ordering and visiting again.“
