I love sushi but honestly wasn't expecting much from here with it being sushi in Godfrey. I'm glad I was wrong. Food was very good and service was fast. I didn't love the ramen but the sushi was the star of the show. Wife and I will be back with the kids very soon.

I've only ordered take out a few times from Toko. The food has been fantastic each time. This last time I ordered the 3 sushi roll special of Call Me Roll, Let's Groove, & In the Name of Roll. They were incredible, honestly I think the best sushi I've ever had. Only critique on the sushi so far is they could be a ton more generous on the masago, you really can't tell it's there on the rolls that supposedly have it. I have also ordered ramen with shoyu base with the protein as shrimp tempura. Overall good flavor and portions. It advertised that it came with tofu, but mine had no tofu. I wish they had a full protein choice of tofu and particular options on the online ordering to add extra egg, etc. & be able to see any added costs for those. With it being such a small place, there's not a good spot to stand when picking up take out orders, you just have to awkwardly stand between the people sitting at the bar & the people sitting at the tables at the back right. If they offered paying online when ordering online, this would cut down on some of the time take out people have to stand there. Also offering a curbside pickup option instead to eliminate the congestion inside and awkwardness with the pick up orders would be great. I understand they are a new business and still working out some kinks I'm sure. Food quality great though & I will definitely be going back again & again.

I went to grab some sushi from here for the first time. I have to say they were quite busy but everyone was making sure to take care of the guest. I was unsure of the process of ordering and asked someone who worked there and she kindly assisted me and made sure someone came and took my order once I was ready. I order three rolls for about 30 dollars or so. I have to say they were amazing!!! I have tried sushi at the drunken fish once and it was terrible. I am happy this restaurant is here in our town and I will for sure be back. Thank you for the experience and the food exceeded me and my wife’s expectations!

The bursting blueberry boba is to die for ? the teriyaki chicken was pretty yummy too, needs a bit more seasoning on the chicken though. Hopefully next time is even better!

A buddy of mine came to town so we could do our annual gorging-on sushi ritual. We took a gamble on this place, and I’m glad we did.They started us off with some Miso Soup. It was warm, simple, and hearty.Next, we dove into the Deep fried crab jalapeño appetizer. The jalapeño had a light heat, and there was plenty of cream cheese. It was like a popper drizzled with eel sauce. Delicious.Then came the sushi and rolls. Each one was unique and beautifully delivered. They tasted exquisite. The deep-fried November roll was my favorite. The eel sauce and masago elevated the roll to the flavor heavens.The servers were very attentive and happily brought us extra wasabi.They make the most of the space, but it is tight inside. Hopefully, they do well enough to expand, as I imagine they will be packed soon.
