You will get.a truly unique experience when you eat at The Levee Lounge. The building is beautiful and worth seeing in itself. The owners (staff) are delightful people who will leave you to peace and quiet if you like or talk with you and tell you stories as long as you wish. Their grown children are often around and theyare great to talk to as well. I would say those young men helped restore my faith in teenagers these days. Oh, and they have food also. The food is delicious...
Great local wine selection! And they have lots of local beer options too. The owners are so helpful & nice (and masked!). Tony, one of the owners, suggested a great wine bottle for us and we even bought one to go! Would highly recommend stopping in (or even staying with them!) if you’re in the area.
We visited for drinks and dinner recently. This is a unique place and it has a wide variety of beer and wine. We had made reservations, and my mince pie and her fish and chips were delicious. Beth was an interesting conversationalist and really went out of her way to make sure we had a good experience.
