I came to Taste of Country on a cold Tuesday afternoon. I was cheerfully seated and my drink order taken. The hostess explained the menu and the specials. The dining room was spotless and well organized. The day outside was cold but sunny and with all that light streaming in through the many windows it made for a great vibe in the room.
I ordered the Taste of Country club sandwich and a cup of their broccoli cheddar soup. The food arrived quickly and was presented in a pleasant manner. The sandwich was fresh and delicious, the soup savory and rich. I enjoyed both and the portions were plentiful without being to much food. For dessert the hostess recommended the bread pudding, and of course being a sucker for bread pudding I agreed whole heartedly and ordered a piece for later. (Per the hostess instructions, 20 seconds in the microwave and the pudding was fantastic!)
This is my second time to Taste of Country and as before it was a great experience. I highly recommend trying this fine establishment if you are out and about. The food is good, the staff friendly and competent, and ambiance is very nice. Taste of Country also rents the space for events if you need a quaint space that won't feel big and empty like some event spaces.

It is a pleasant location to visit on occasion. The food, primarily sandwiches, was acceptable. The soups were also acceptable. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere and the service.
Great food and service. Simple menu, easy to choose from. I had the fruited chicken salad croissant and broccoli cheese soup, with the blueberry cobbler cheesecake. Delicious!
