I had a bad experience today with this place, As we walked in we notice there was only one table occupied which usually this place isn’t packed full but it is a popular spot we’ve been coming here several times and we love it there but this young man white male curly hair I can’t seem to remember his name but also don’t think he ever mentioned it but he set the menus down on the table, I then requested a booth, the whole place was empty so I thought there wouldn’t be any issue but he suggested we keep the table he suggested and I said “please can you give us the booth the place is empty we would like to sit on the booth. There was an elder Asian lady who was very sweet I think she might be the owner or manager and she grabbed the menus out of his hands and told us we could sit in the booth she was so sweet and then the young guy (server) approached the table with a really bad attitude and asked the table if we were ready, mind you we had just sat down, regardless we ordered drinks anyways he goes to get the drinks and slam them on the table, which at that point we felt uncomfortable, got up and decided not to eat there anymore. On the way out we told the older Asian lady that her employees behavior was really rude! The place was empty I don’t know why he even had an issue with giving us the booth! and after he threw the drinks on the table I felt like this guy was either gonna spit in my food or do something to it. It was very sad because I had brought out some friends that I had recommended this place to, and they were actually exited to try a seafood boil but sadly we had to leave because of the very rude waiter. Hopefully they train him better because who’s gonna dine at a place with that type of service.

Was asked if I was ordering for takeout I said no because I planned to eat in since they did not close until 10. Went ahead and told me I can only do takeout now because their dining area was closed when there was 3 tables with people still there eating. Should update your hours if you can’t have people come in and sit down to eat until 10.
I sent my kids in for two to go orders and they literally tried to get over by placing both orders in one bag and only adding one ear of corn and two potatoes, charging damn near 90 dollars with 4 small claws. This is so ridiculous and I will never come back. They will also be doing a review posting on their YouTube channel.

This place I will never go back! I’m sure this sounds racist but I’m not a fan of inconsistent food, they stand by consistency

I wanted the meal but somehow the order was only crab legs asked if I could get the meal and pay the difference and I was told I had to order another meal and pay full price or pay full price for each side that would have come in meal.. very disappointing. They wanted me to pay an extra 30 dollars for sides (fries, rice, and corn)
Many Menu prices listed as "market price." Limited menu with items not available. Ordered Ramen not spicy and was unable to eat it due to spiciness. Was told there are 3 levels of spice above it which did not make ot edible for me! Not offered a solution or replacement. Won't be going back!

The food was underwhelming. I hardly touched the soft shell crab after initially trying it and asked for it to be waived from my bill. The owner was hostile in telling me “no.” The best thing on my plate were the fries and know they just pulled that out of a bag and fried them. Cod was very dry. Then when the lady who seemed to be the mother of the owner was bringing me my change, she dropped it on the floor and did not pick it up. I had to go back and tell them so they could find and give me the correct change I was owed.

This was the restaurant one of my co workers suggested for our lunch outing. When we arrived the young waiter seated us but his demeanor was very rude the entire time we were there. I ordered my daughter and myself the seafood boil with shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, sausage and corn along with 2 drinks (which came in a can). The portion size was good but the food was extremely bland! No flavor at all. At that point I decided not to eat it there but to take it home to Dr it up. When I got home I noticed that none of the shrimp were deveined which messed my appetite all the way up. I ended up trashing the whole meal. Total waste of money!

Went here to try the tonkotsu ramen and I was not impressed. The meat was very fatty, I prefer a more lean meat. The eggs were hard boiled and when I requested a soft boiled egg they said they couldn’t. Overall would not come here again for ramen. I highly recommend Ramen House Shinchan in Vernon hills for quality ramen.

Went in to order takeout, they had no menus. I was referred to the online menu. When I placed my order they wanted to charge a different price than the one posted with no regard to the online price. Staff just said that’s old and we cannot do that. Why refer us to the online menu then?! Won’t be going back.

The young man that works there has no customer service skills. Prices were extremely high.

Walking in this place was a lot bigger than I thought by just the outside. They have a few tables on a couple walls and booths along one of the other walls. Sitting down my company was handed menus to order from. We quickly learned that ramen could only be ordered Monday to Thursday. We asked if they had any leftover ramen they could make for at least 2 of us and the waiter said they could. We didn't get any of the Cajun seafood boils, but instead got 2 bowls of ramen, and a tuna salad rice bowl. Both ramen bowls were very good, they do come spicy as a standard, but you have the option to make it spicier. We also got a family order of crab fried rice, big order and absolutely delicious. Overall our food was very good, although a bit combusted by the decor at first we still felt at home with the beautifully put together bowls of food. We will definitely be returning. And it will for sure be a treat.
