I wanted to like this place because the staff was so nice and reviews were good so I ordered my sons birthday cake. No one liked the cake. It was dry and taste like it had been baked and frozen weeks before. The next day it tasted worse,like doughy and gritty. The fresh fruit was fine but not good if cake is not good. The other thing I hate about this place is the cleanliness. For a place that serves food, they could use some classes on sanitation ans hygiene. I was going to use bathroom but changed my mind after walking in and seeing the dirty bathroom. Dirty as in a ring in the toilet, dust,and spider webs, dirty mirror,etc. The place itself is dingy and could use some cleaning itself. I had to wait 45 min before my cake was done and held it because I was scared of the bathroom and am terrified of mice and spiders and felt like they have some I al sure.

This British bakehouse is phenomenal, personable, and not insanely priced. I'm not even gluten free and I loved it. My friend has celiac disease and is so limited when it comes to wheat eats so we went there as a small group to try it out and have some weekend fun. We each drooled over everything we ordered, (and I have a professional baking background so I'm pretty discerning)... Lemon bars, raspberry cake, other vanilla cake of some kind, sprinkled donuts and lattes. Go get them. Now. You're welcome. When I'm in the area again I will definitely be back for another sugar rush.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Daltons Cakes! They went above and beyond to create a beautiful and absolutely delicious cake for my son’s birthday that was completely egg-free. From the moment I contacted them, their kindness and dedication to accommodating our needs were truly impressive! They took the time to ensure everything was perfect, and the end result was beyond our expectations. The cake was not only stunning but tasted amazing—moist, flavorful, and loved by everyone at the party! I am so grateful for their exceptional service and care. I called in an order for a cupcake bouquet and was extremely disappointed in the execution, presentation, and flavor of the cupcakes.
Instead of receiving a bouquet, there were 14 separate cupcakes that vaguely resembled flowers. None of the other discussed decorations were included.
Additionally, the flavors themselves (vanilla, lemon, and red velvet) were underwhelming— especially the red velvet. I don’t normally leave negative reviews for gluten free bakeries, because I’m usually so grateful to find one, but this was truly off the mark.

As someone who very recently went gluten free - Dalton's Cakes has been Heaven sent. Their whole team is SO warm and kind. From my interactions over the phone ordering cakes, to stopping by for a pastry - they always are above and beyond. We have now ordered two birthday cakes and I have tried an assortment of the pastries. The cakes are so good, my mother who is NOT GF, requested I order her birthday cake from here since mine was so good. Their coffee is also wonderful. Thankful to have found this place!

Went to Daltons to grab some pastries. They have so many gluten-free+dairy-free options. Their muffins taste like non-GF I can’t believe it! And the price for everything is so cheap in comparison to other GF bakeries. And they are such a nice family, this spot is such a gem.

We ordered a STRAWBERRY cake or like half strawberry half chocolate or vanilla. My mom even double checked with the lady at the place when picking the cake up. When we cut the cake today, it was all vanilla. No strawberries! A bit disappointing ???

Not only was the carrot cake amazing (I could seriously eat the frosting with a spoon), but the service from Dalton’s Cakes was above and beyond! I forgot to come for my cake on a Saturday, despite several reminders on my phone, but Dalton’s knew I needed it for a Monday retirement party. They are closed Sunday and Monday. She called and WAITED for me to come from 20 minutes away to get the cake. What service!! On top of all that, I had my two small children in tow and she even carried the cake to my car for me. We are not a gluten free household, but we WILL be back as customers of Dalton’s Cakes.
