I called in an order for a cupcake bouquet and was extremely disappointed in the execution, presentation, and flavor of the cupcakes.
Instead of receiving a bouquet, there were 14 separate cupcakes that vaguely resembled flowers. None of the other discussed decorations were included.
Additionally, the flavors themselves (vanilla, lemon, and red velvet) were underwhelming— especially the red velvet. I don’t normally leave negative reviews for gluten free bakeries, because I’m usually so grateful to find one, but this was truly off the mark.

As someone who very recently went gluten free - Dalton's Cakes has been Heaven sent. Their whole team is SO warm and kind. From my interactions over the phone ordering cakes, to stopping by for a pastry - they always are above and beyond. We have now ordered two birthday cakes and I have tried an assortment of the pastries. The cakes are so good, my mother who is NOT GF, requested I order her birthday cake from here since mine was so good. Their coffee is also wonderful. Thankful to have found this place!

We ordered a STRAWBERRY cake or like half strawberry half chocolate or vanilla. My mom even double checked with the lady at the place when picking the cake up. When we cut the cake today, it was all vanilla. No strawberries! A bit disappointing ???

Not only was the carrot cake amazing (I could seriously eat the frosting with a spoon), but the service from Dalton’s Cakes was above and beyond! I forgot to come for my cake on a Saturday, despite several reminders on my phone, but Dalton’s knew I needed it for a Monday retirement party. They are closed Sunday and Monday. She called and WAITED for me to come from 20 minutes away to get the cake. What service!! On top of all that, I had my two small children in tow and she even carried the cake to my car for me. We are not a gluten free household, but we WILL be back as customers of Dalton’s Cakes.

This gluten free vanilla cake was ordered for our large event as an alternative offering to the larger, decorated grocery store bakery cakes. This cake was lovely, and it was much BETTER tasting than the others! Delicious. I highly recommend.

I chose Dalton's Cakes to get my daughters 1st birthday (Sweet themed) "Smash cake" They were able to make me a cake in such a short amount of time only 2-3 days time to be exact and they were able to help. Yayy!!! Long story short I sent a picture or two and also went in person to discuss detailes and everything I wanted the cake to have and even reshowed the one picture I liked the most..and I said I'd like the cake to look as similar or exact to the picture I showed while also having a little room for them to do as they wished to the cake. Well on the day of pick up. I seen the cake and it didn't come out looking at all what I had requested and I paid a lot. Over $40 for a smash cake. So I did say something politely and asked "So what happened to the blue icing and why is the whole cake just "PINK" So Alana was kind enough to go add some more colors and other stuff as well my daughter's name which I had already requested but it wasnt done at all till i had to mention it. Anyways Alana was looking out for me because she said another customer had ordered a cake and didn't realize their sons face was going to be dyed blue for 2 days straight so thankfully she took it amongst herslef to make the changes I just wished I was notified or informed of the issue with using the color blue before changes were made without my knowledge and walking in picking up the cake and being completely surpised But thankfully my kid didn't spend her first birthday dyed blue!!! So I'm very grateful!!! So next time I'd highly recommend speaking with your customers as a heads up if you come across any issues with frosting colors because the cake didn't come out as I was hoping for. Still was a great day and they were still able to make the changes to accommodate the rest!!!!
This was my very first time ordering and getting a custom cake and I wish it had been more to what I had requested. Day of pick up I waited over 30 mins for the changes to be made just so I wouldn't walk out feeling completely disappointed and a failure as a first time mother getting her child a cake.
Talked at length with Alison about a special cake I wanted for a wedding shower for my niece and her fiancée. Based on our conversation, she dreamed up the most gorgeous cake, white with flowers and faux pearls. Each layer on the inside was a color of the rainbow and it was gorgeous! When my niece and her fiancée cut the cake, there were gasps when everyone saw the inside. So perfect and so delicious. Thank you Dalton’s Cakes!

Dalton's makes some of the best gluten free desserts I've ever had. I ask for their lemon bars for every birthday! They are so accommodating to all allergies and intolerances as well. I've tried a lot of their pastries and there hasn't been one I don't love. I got my first real paczki in 14 years there and it was amazing!! The owners are the kindest, funniest, most welcoming people ever. You don't even have to be gluten free to love their products! They're incredible!

Went to the gluten free cookie box night last night...the cookies are fantastic!!! I was diagnosed with Celiac disease late in life so I know what the real thing taste like and this is the first time in my life I have found cookies that taste better than the real thing! The lemon blueberry with cream cheese filling and the hot chocolate cookies were especially delicious!!! I also love the idea of the cookie box night...I don't ever get to fully experience a cookie exchange because of my Celiac disease and this came really close and made my heart so happy It is a wonderful feeling to belong!!!
