Leighanne was the perfect wine guide. She gave us a lot of historical facts about the family and even the area in general. We learned so much and enjoyed these wonderful wines! I loved her patience and attention to detail. Thank you!!

Wonderful wines with a personal touch! We really enjoyed the tasting - the wines are out of this world, there's something for everyone. Everyone we met while tasting at GFWC was incredibly kind (we love a family business!). We will absolutely be back & will continue to tell others to go as well!

We bought several bottles of port. At least 3 of them had a crumbling cork in them. On sale, they were over 30 dollars per bottle. They were probably in sale because if the cork. When I called, they took my name and number...never heard from then again.

Sara presented the wines and educated us on their production. She then coordinated with Steve Glunz one of the winemakers a tour for us. Steve graduated from Xavier University from our home town and gave us good suggestions for dinner, hiking and beach trails
Karen worked with me today at the winery. She was a delight to work with. She showed me all all sorts of wines and was very easy to work with.
Living in Arizona the past 8 years. Originally from Illinois, near Grayslake. Visited the winery several times. My best friends sister, gave me a bottle of their Glug. Omgosh! Excellent. Can't fully describe how incredible it was. Hoping to be able to get a bottle (or 2) shipped my way for the holidays. Friendly staff. Helpful in choosing from the selection they have. Awesome place. You just have to go and experience it yourself.
Kind people, reasonably priced wines, and the opportunity to taste as many as you like before settling on the right one. What's not to like?
