Just consumed one of the best philly's, it was hot and the customer service was phenomenal. And the Italian Ice is very wonderful. Would absolutely recommend a visit here, definitely need one in Grand Island.

This guy is a joke.We did some work for him.And he didn't want to pass and then he tried to overcharge us on the food food wasn't that good port service cold food stay away from this guy from this business

I had really bad experience with the owner of this place, he is crook and a liar . I did Hardwood Flooring work in his other two properties few months ago and never got paid. Be careful with this guy.
Every time I have decided to go here I have had a negative experience, the first time I came here I ordered a burger and it was severely undercooked. When I told the waitress she brought it back and all of the sudden one of the cooks came out from the back trying to yell at me telling me I dont know what I’m talking about… that experience turned me off from this place for awhile, the last few times I decided to try it again have been horrible service , I ordered a burger to go at 2pm, there was maybe 3 customers there ( all outside smoking cigarettes by the way) and it took over 20 minutes for one burger to come out… I ordered it to go and the 20 minutes doesn’t count the time it took to order or drive there , that’s just being in the store picking it up, and it’s always like this… any other bar downtown Grayslake is better.

We had a Thanksgiving meal, order for pickup (family style) and all went smoothly! Dominic, was great! His staff were considerate to our needs. Our group, enjoyed all of the food. My husband loved the stuffing, (he never eats stuffing) several members of the group really appreciated the salad: And my sisters and I truly enjoyed the meats! I certainly made our holiday a family time well spent. Thank you Jo Jo's from owner to staff, I hope you got to have some time to enjoy your day too! Bobbi Morgan

I first discovered this bar in 2019 and have good memories. Today I stopped by to revisit, boy has it changed. I sat down at the bar and was waiting to be greeted, it took a while. I am not critical about this though, it was only one waitress serving everyone and she was doing her best. When she came to take my order she was very friendly and attentive. She put my order ( Reuben Sandwich & Fries 15.99$) in right away, and my food came out not long after. The bread on the sandwich was toasted just right, and the meat and sauerkraut where the perfect mix. The fries also where cooked perfectly and tasted like parm/truffle fries. Most of the people next to me where locals, very friendly people. Will definitely be coming back !
