Roost 83 Chicago Style Grill

Had the Roost Burger, which is just a regular cheeseburger topped with onion straws and way too much BBQ sauce. The burger was low quality and slopping it up with the sauce didn't make it any better, just messier to eat.

The woman that takes the order is friendly but bored and doesn't seem to pay attention. I asked for like cheese on the salad and said I will throw the rest of it away yeah I still got a full order when all went in the garbage also salads are very very wet so if you don't eat it all in restaurant you will throw it away

First time that we ordered from here. Really good food. My kids loved it and didnt leave anything. Customer service was great. They ran out of Italian beef but we ended up getting roost beef and was good. Will definitely come back to try out their dessert menu. Thank you guys!

First of all, our first visit was great so we went back a week or so later. The cashier didn't complete our order correctly, we requested that the bratwurst be placed in separate bags from the polish so not to mix up, they did. And I requested chicken tenders, BBQ sauce and fries. We didn't get the fries, so check your order before you leave

I've had a number of meals here now, so this review is based on the aggregate of the visits.

Everything has been awesome, each time. The chicken mac and cheese wrap is delicious and massive, portions across the board are generous. Burgers, chicken, gyros, have always been good and consistent.

The biggest thing for me is these may be the best wings in town. Worth the wait. Enjoy!

Take out Gyros Combo and Garden salad. Fries double dipped, chunky onions, and some lettuce stemy bottom thing is in the salad. Simply gross for the price. $25.39. DO BETTER!

The food was hot, fresh and delicious. My son LOVES crinkle fries and they even stayed crispy until we got home. We will most definitely be back again. Highly recommend.

I've been going here for years. I've never had to wait for an online order. Maybe they were short staffed today. I placed my order online at 11:15 to picked up at 11:45. Got there at 11:45 and they hadn't even started the order. So I got to stand there for 20min waiting. The guy who I'm thinking is a manager or owner handed me the bag and then proceeded to snap at me because I grabbed the bag too quickly. Never apologized for having to wait 20min, just scolded me for how I grabbed the bag. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Roost 83 is a great local place! The food is always ripping hot and great portions. The Roost Pork with cheese and hot peppers in my go-to because it's a totally unique sandwich with great, smoky sweet flavor. They have good specials and a decent pepper and egg for lent. The TVs are massive if you want to hang out and catch a game and the employees are always nice. If you want Chicago style food in Grayslake, I would choose Roost 83 over the other competition.
