The food here is good, but a little bland compared to other similar places I've eaten. The staff are friendly and the food is prepared quickly. This used to be a dine-in restaurant but I'm assuming they went to carry-out only during the pandemic and never reopened the dining room. What you have is a 5' x 10' room with a counter to ceiling plexiglass panel to other through.
Overall, if say it's a good, regular place to visit and get your food to go.

We ordered 40 egg rolls and 4 orders crab rangoon for a St Patrick's Day party last Saturday in the afternoon . We had a lot of people ask me where I got the food from because it was so good. Cheers!!!!

I ordered through Grub Hub so I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere but the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered the beef teriyaki sticks and house lo mein. The beef teriyaki sticks had zero taste of teriyaki and was chewy and not reminiscent of beef. The lo mein was made with skinny ramen type noodles and there was absolutely zero flavor. The noodles were white and tasteless. Easily the worst meal I’ve ever had. It is obvious that this establishment does not care for the customers with this very low quality meal. I am truly disappointed and dissatisfied. Never again

I called Tang's Christmas day, right when they opened. I placed my order at 12:30pm for 5pm pickup to avoid any headaches. I arrived at 5pm. My order was still taped to their little checkout window on the left hand side. My $100+ order for my party had never been entered or made.
I was given some lame excuse as to what happened and was asked to pay. Once I paid, I was told to wait. No discount, no sorry , no nothing. Just a "were behind and no eta for your food".... the customer service was absolutely horrible. I ended up getting my order at 5:45pm.
Funny part is I was told to bring cash when I made the order! No joke, the lady on phone TOLD ME she wanted cash. The food was bad. Just like everyone else reviewed, the fried rice tasted brutal. The protein (chicken, beef, pork) is of poor quality. Very chewy texture with little to no flavor. It was also obvious my order was rushed and made on the fly. The biggest waste of over $100. I will not be going back here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after the horrible experience I had.
Lesson learned I guess, sticking to Hong Kong Chop Suey in Mundelein... they treat you nicely and run a good business.
