There was one person in front of us and we had to wait for 10 minutes. It's 12pm lunch time and apparently they don't have nuggets and don't have any dark meat thighs or drumsticks. We ask okay how long to wait while you drop some fresh ones. They ran out of everything as the guy is frying chicken.

I stopped by Chester’s at Love’s Travel Stop in Greenville, IL and had one of the worst customer service experiences. I ordered three chicken thighs and simply asked if ranch was extra. The middle-aged lady at the counter (around 45-50 years old) got extremely offended by my question. When I asked if all locations charge extra or just this one, she rudely snapped, “Only my location,” and then aggressively asked, “You wanna buy or not?”
I calmly told her I was just asking for clarification, but instead of answering politely, she started yelling at me to leave! Another employee ( with braids) tried to step in, but I told him I was addressing her, not him. Eventually, a manager/supervisor came and took her inside while she continued screaming and acting unprofessional.
If you can’t respect customers or answer a simple question without losing your temper, maybe customer service isn’t the right job for you. If she was having a bad day, that’s no excuse to yell at paying customers. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

Worst experience EVER at a Chester's Chicken. The guy behind the counter acted like he was mad just because we wanted an order. When he gave me my order and asked if there was anything else he had an attitude even than about it. All I wanted was the 2 piece meal with fries as the side and I got a whole 4 fries total!!!! If he hates his job that much he should go find somewhere else to work where he doesn't have to deal with people. I work customer service for over 20 years and never have I seen such attitude as I did tonight.

Come on Chester's!!!!! Potatoes and gravy???? Potatoes were fine but the gravy was water with a teaspoon of gravy added to it....disgusting! No vegetables, no gizzards, no variety here and minimal Chicken choices.
You guys need to audit this store and make it worth visiting. The only good thing was the price....but ...not for what you get!

Absolutely Horrible service. Some little blonde girl took my order and was just rude and disrespectful. She acted like I ruined her night coming in to order food for me and my family. The entire team on the line was loud obnoxious and just cussing at each other. I will never come back . Worst service EVER.
The employees are absolutely terrible. I’ve never seen such incompetence and ineptitude.

I got the 4 peice for 7 bucks. The chicken was slimy and parts of it were yellow and bubbley I was ignorant and was conducting an experiment. So..... 12 hours later I had samonella poisoning. Never trust chester chicken. I was dehydrated enough that it wasn't that sever and the kyopectate acted fast enough. I have cramps... its

Not good service. I know it's a fast food place inside of a gas station so I leave my review with that still in mind but man, each time I've tried to get food here there's always some issue. I've had sandwiches that are dry and the temperature of coming out of the fridge. I've had issues where they don't have what I'm ordering because their equipment is malfunctioning and the staff almost always has an unwelcoming attitude. I drive for a loving and visit many truck stops and this is my least favorite one to stop at. Bad service here for food means I'm more likely to get fuel and other services done elsewhere as well. Management needs to get their food services together because it's really not difficult to make fried chicken or sandwiches.
