“Stopped in for a late lunch after our oldest sister’s funeral..our server Michelle was fantastic(even expressed her condolences), the food was great, they’re pretty busy it seems, but plenty of space, and it was reasonably priced! We plan to come back, thank you to everyone at the Old Mill for a great meal during a difficult time 🙏🏻❤️🏁 PS my husband got the pork tenderloin sandwich, it was amazing, he said it was the best one in a VERY LONG time 😎”

“I ordered some food from these guys. The food was incredible, 5/5. I had to dock a star because I payed around 4 or 5 bucks for a side of guacamole and a side of sour cream that never arrived.”
“always a great time. we play cards on Mondays and Tuesdays there. the food is great and the owners are a blast”
“I was a little disappointed that the facilities didn't have obvious improvements after repair from the fire. Bathroom is dingy looking. It's certainly not like the country clubs you see on TV. A bar and 2 banquet/meeting rooms. Capacity is probably at most 200 people.”

“I never like leaving a negative review, BUT I feel this place needs help with customer service! My father and I sat down at a table, and the family beside us gave us a warning not to order pizza unless we wanted to wait longer than an hour; our waitress said the same thing. Okay, no worries, so we ordered toasted ravioli as an appetizer; I a sub, and he ordered pasta. My sub came out within 20min. I thought it was a little strange we didn’t receive our meals at the same time. 10 more minutes go by, and we get our toasted ravioli only after asking. Now I’m done eating and have yet to be asked for a refill. Now it’s 45min in we finally have our waitress come over asking if everything is okay; at this point, we’re annoyed because my father has yet to receive his pasta! Over an hour in &, he finally received his pasta. We chatted with the manager; he said sorry and blamed it on being busy. To us, they didn't seem that busy with six tables being waited on. So long story short, if you want to eat at the same time, get the pizza; because no matter what you order, it will take almost 2 hours with zero attention to needing refills and just watching them walk around your table, avoiding you.”

“I’ve seen some of the harsh reviews about our local Dairy Queen, especially regarding staffing and cleanliness, and while I understand that everyone’s experience is valid, mine has been quite different — and worth sharing.
Dairy Queen has become one of our go-to spots because of its genuinely family-friendly atmosphere. There’s something heartwarming about seeing kids laughing outside with cones in hand, little league teams celebrating a win, or college students catching up over Blizzards. It’s not just a restaurant — it’s part of our community.
Yes, it can get busy. And yes, sometimes an order isn’t perfect the first time. But every time we’ve had a mistake, the staff has handled it with grace, fixed the issue promptly, and offered a sincere apology. That kind of accountability and friendliness deserves praise, not nitpicking.
In a small town with limited options, Dairy Queen is more than just a fast-food stop — it’s a shared space where people gather. So maybe instead of focusing on a missed ketchup packet, we can celebrate the fact that this place gives our town a welcoming, fun, and familiar spot to enjoy a treat and connect with others.
Take a moment to slow down, say hello, and you’ll see — the folks working here truly do care and will go the extra mile to make things right.”

“Based on all the reviews of this place, seems it has its good days and bad days here. When I went here the food was very tasty and fresh. I would even say I liked it better than Chinatown in Litchfield and I like that place too. Highly recommended.”

“Stopped here on a family road trip. Great little hole-in-the-wall Chinese place. Our server was absolutely wonderful. She was helpful and friendly with out of owners and regulars alike. Food was fresh and there was a great selection for a small place. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but very clean and homey inside.”
“Better than KFC. They also have the honey biscuits and tasty sides. The coleslaw can vary a little each location but coleslaw overall was a pretty sweet. Highly recommend!!!”

“Where was the watermelon on the menu? Need some watermelon with fired chicken, or waffles with fired chicken
Vegetarian options: Tacos do not belong on your feet.
Parking: Parking is super expensive (like $200 for an hour). The valet gave me an old police car when I was ready to leave.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the 3rd floor. The elevator was broke that day so I had to climb the stairs”

“Today I happened upon this Taco Bell, a small town in Illinois. I was really impressed with the speed and cleanliness of the place. What mostly hit me was the fact that the two bean burritos that I ordered the extra red sauce, came out perfectly as I had hoped. In St. Louis, where I live it’s like the people at Taco Bell had abandoned the idea of delivering quality burritos in favor of speed and dry beans. But the two bean burritos I received today here at this Taco Bell made me feel nostalgic for the late 90s early 2000s bean burritos with extra red sauce. Great job everybody!”

“Shimoji Coffee is 5*. That’s all I can really say. Who needs overrated Starbucks when you’ve got a local, small business that deserves the support? It’s a no-brainer.”
“The ladies working at this Scooters are amazing. They are friendly and caring. Always willing and ready to help in any way they can.”

“Cannot recommend Sugar Shop Cakery enough! We ordered cupcakes, our bride/groom cake, iced cookies, and cookie sandwiches for our wedding dessert table and she even came and set up the table beautifully at the venue for us making it a stress free experience. ❤️ Everything was AMAZING, and I’m still getting guests messaging me asking about the cookie sandwiches that they are “dreaming about”😂❤️”

“The only sit down coffee shop in Greenville. Lots of students... as should be expected since it is on GU campus. But, the drinks were excellent and the baristas were friendly. The smores coffee was wonderful and the cinnamon scones perfect.”
