“Great place for dairy products!”

“Last fall I met this interesting passenger on my flight to Portland, OR and we decided to meet up for lunch . She lives in Kinmundy, IL and I'm from St. Charles, MO so we decided Greenville would be half way and she found Vicki's Country Diner and we just had the best food and camaraderie with Ms. Vicki when she took a break and joined us! Our servings were delicious and plentiful ... so much so that we didn't have room for dessert, but we already decided the next time we will order dessert to go and enjoy it when we get home. Their coffee is wonderful too! Highly recommend this as a great place to relax and have a home cooked meal and breathe some fresh country air! I had eggs and hash browns with crispy pieces of bacon, sourdough toast with apple butter and a fluffy huge waffle laden with warm chocolate syrup ... need I say more! The walls are filled with gifted Ms. Vicki's amazing artwork to enjoy too! Just about an hour's drive from St. Charles straight on the interstate 70 for a very pleasant drive and we had to head back early so missed the music jam session that began at 5 on Sunday. Vicki's Country Diner is a great place just to get away and enjoy wonderful small town hospitality and good food and the prices are reasonable!”

“We have been finding ourselves at The Old Mill once a week here lately. Everything I have tried has been great! Although, sometimes there is a wait for your food it's definitely worth it! Tonight we had a fantastic experience, from food to our server, Maggie. She was busy but remained attentive to our needs and checked on us often! I should've gotten her schedule. What a pleasant experience! We always leave full and happy! We will be back next week, God willing!! Thank you, Maggie!!”

“We were there Saturday night and ordered 2 Western Burgers inside! Got them and started eating them outside and after a bite or two realized they were awful Spicy and not what we ordered! We went ahead and ate them after seeing on the bill we received wipeouts!! Never again5 too spicy for us!!”

“I was a little disappointed that the facilities didn't have obvious improvements after repair from the fire. Bathroom is dingy looking. It's certainly not like the country clubs you see on TV. A bar and 2 banquet/meeting rooms. Capacity is probably at most 200 people.”

“I never like leaving a negative review, BUT I feel this place needs help with customer service! My father and I sat down at a table, and the family beside us gave us a warning not to order pizza unless we wanted to wait longer than an hour; our waitress said the same thing. Okay, no worries, so we ordered toasted ravioli as an appetizer; I a sub, and he ordered pasta. My sub came out within 20min. I thought it was a little strange we didn’t receive our meals at the same time. 10 more minutes go by, and we get our toasted ravioli only after asking. Now I’m done eating and have yet to be asked for a refill. Now it’s 45min in we finally have our waitress come over asking if everything is okay; at this point, we’re annoyed because my father has yet to receive his pasta! Over an hour in &, he finally received his pasta. We chatted with the manager; he said sorry and blamed it on being busy. To us, they didn't seem that busy with six tables being waited on. So long story short, if you want to eat at the same time, get the pizza; because no matter what you order, it will take almost 2 hours with zero attention to needing refills and just watching them walk around your table, avoiding you.”

“Lucked out and got fresh chips and salsa, but it must have been the bottom of the bag, a lot of small pieces. Waiter never checked on the quality of food after it was brought to the table. Not our best visit, but we will be back.”

“Based on all the reviews of this place, seems it has its good days and bad days here. When I went here the food was very tasty and fresh. I would even say I liked it better than Chinatown in Litchfield and I like that place too. Highly recommended.”

“The owner always goes above and beyond anytime I eat here to make anything fresh that is low/out on the buffet. He takes the time to ask me what I need and if there is anything I'd like him to refill - he will make it right there on the spot (about 5 minute wait, but worth it!). Excellent service that always brings me back.”

Vegetarian options: Tacos do not belong on your feet.

Parking: Parking is super expensive (like $200 for an hour). The valet gave me an old police car when I was ready to leave.

Wheelchair accessibility: It's on the 3rd floor. The elevator was broke that day so I had to climb the stairs”

“Shimoji Coffee is 5*. That’s all I can really say. Who needs overrated Starbucks when you’ve got a local, small business that deserves the support? It’s a no-brainer.”

“The only sit down coffee shop in Greenville. Lots of students... as should be expected since it is on GU campus. But, the drinks were excellent and the baristas were friendly. The smores coffee was wonderful and the cinnamon scones perfect.”
