Stopped in for breakfast while going to see the eclipse. Food was quite tasty and came pretty damn quick. Prices are really high, though and they charge more than what the menu says on some items. Paid $43 for breakfast for 3 people.

They don't know the difference between rye toast and other kinds taters we're cold eggs was cold. My daughter Bacon was over crisp and she told them not crisp. Than tried to give our food to someone else. And not giving food out in order of people being there. Used to love this place. Now I will avoid it. Could of gotten better meal at home

The food was excellent, as well as the service. The only gripe I have is the seats were pretty tore up and the place was a bit dated. I didn't go there for the atmosphere though, I went there for the food and they didn't disappoint.

It's a diner. Dont expect more. You are gonna get exactly what you order. The people watching is spectacular here too... a lot of the patrons are a bit older and they will talk your ear off. The point is you don't go to Lu-Bobs to eat so much as you go to learn about Greenville and break bread with the locals. Owned by the same folks as the Funderbunk Diner in Pocohantas!

If you're looking for down home classic country this is the place! It is an institution! Had breakfast and the fries, the eggs, the sausage, even the bagel were great. Prices were a LOT higher than I expected, and of course the environment is about as far from updated, clean, or modern as one could imagine. But I suppose that's why they have survived so long and is part of the charm.
