I visited 12/27/24 approximately 12:05pm. I know the specific time because I was on break from my job. Ordered a Chicken salad wrap, biggest mistake!!! I had to clock out almost an hr early, due to me conducting food poisoning from Subway located inside Loves in Greenville il. This weekend is ruined for me n my family, supposed to go to families house for Christmas, unfortunately I will NOT be able to make it. Please do Everyone a favor, please check expectations, please check temperatures on all cold stock on the service line.. I'm really paying for the slack. May want to keep tabs on all foods, you've lost this first time customer, may not want to lose all the rest.
Peace n good health to all

Everyone was so nice. It was also very clean. The kid who made our sandwiches did an amazing job. And I had 4 sandwiches lol so he did such an awesome job. Not once did he get nervous and he even held a conversation why making them. I didnt have to remind him anything at all he remembered everything I said. Shoot I would have forgot lol. Thank you for doing such a good job.

The service was horrible here. They are your sub then leave it there open letting it get cold as they decide to take care of the next person. As if I didn't exist and they were all attentive to the next in line. You ain't even finished with mine. They touch on metal and all kinds of stuff with the same gloves. Do not come here it's disgusting. Hope I don't get food poisoning.

The food poisoning that set in the next day indicates that the soggy ingredients were not clean, leaving me with the strong impression that we just ate contaminated food.

Looking at the names of the bad reviews, it’s clear that race has something to do with the bad service here.

Two employees refused to speak a word to my wife—who is of Jewish and Native American descent.

They didn’t even acknowledge her presence.

The Subway was not clean. When asked to make a sandwich, the staff member refused to allow me to choose anything besides the bread and a specific type of sandwich.

She said that the Chicken Bacon Ranch I ordered comes with chicken strips, bacon, ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and cucumbers. In what world would a sandwich have both pickles and cucumbers?

I accepted it just to get away from this place sooner. The food in the containers was old and soaked in water, none of them had covers on them, the bread was poorly cooked, tasting clearly of Fabuloso—likely sprayed on the ingredients to clean them.

I had never experienced that flavor before, and it felt like I was eating a sub that had been cleaned in a mop bucket. Everything was soaked in clear-looking water.

The subs were smashed when wrapped, and there was no inner paper lining to stop the sub from making the wrapping soggy, which made the entire sub even more soggy because the juice leaked out. Normally, the juice is somewhat held between the fatty cheese and the meat.

Worse still, the staff member who had been using the same gloves to prep my sandwich, clean the counter, used those same gloves to scratch her behind.

I write this 150 days later, and I still feel the seething hatred for this Subway. I would have to purposely plan out teaching how to provide strangers service and food this poorly, in order to come close to this, and I don't think I could. I was mugged in New York, and the experience was more positive than this. This is not a joke.

Not having looked at it on a map, I still remembered the city when somebody mentioned the state of Illinois.

It felt like I was in the beginning of a mediocre movie about the rapture, and angels were about to come down and strike the revilers.

Their treatment of us—specifically my wife—was despicable.

It felt personal. It felt racial. To make it worse, they weren't all the same ethnicity -- so I would have hoped they wouldn't have have us worse than most people treat Pigeons.

There’s no other explanation for the level of disrespect and neglect we experienced.

While traveling you know you have to stop somewhere to eat. Go on up the road and find a real Subway maybe you'll get more than two pieces of roast beef on your sandwich you pay $8 for a 6-in and you barely get any meat you get more bread than anything come on guys get it
