Barnwood, located within the Great Wolf Lodge resort, offers a diverse dining experience for visitors. The staff is described as incredibly gracious, going above and beyond to accommodate guests, even providing a special chicken broth for a sick child not on the menu. The restaurant's ambiance is noted as gorgeous, providing a pleasant view of the water park. The host did everything she could to make sure guests had a seat near the windows.
The menu features a variety of options, including a standout Roasted Chicken dish with crispy skin, charred garlic green beans, and buttery mashed potatoes, as well as delectable Steak Frites. The mini corn dogs, freshly battered to perfection, are also a highlight for younger diners. The chili line chicken rice bowl was good but had rotisserie chicken. A plain pasta is available, just not on the menu. Specialty drinks like the Firefly and Strawberry Lemonade Vodka were delicious. While the prices are slightly higher compared to other dining options in the resort, the quality of the food and the attentive service make Barnwood a worthwhile "treat night" destination. It was nice and quiet.
