Super bummed! We have ordered from here before and had great food and service, this was a year ago. Our recent order was mutter paneer, garlic naan, and lassi. The peas were not fully rehydrated, the portion of the paneer was small for the price, they forgot our rice (we had to go back out to pick it up) and the lassi was infused with rose extract that our son wouldnt drink (this was not what we ordered) < he was excited for it. I am not sure if it was an off night but looking at the reviews it seems to be a general consensus. Again, really disappointed.
That desi resturant is awesome food quality the best. they cook fresh and staff is very coprative just give emm a try you not gonna regret it..
Worst worst worst Indian food ever.We family of 5 went were in Gurnee and decided to check out the food here for the dinner as we have a guest with us.The paneer tikka masala was the worst. I don’t even know why they call it paneer tikka masala it was just paneer with orange color curry. There are way more better places to go.The serving was okay not so great. They even charged us for the tip on our bill and don’t even let you know beforehand and we tipped her twice. Never going to this worst place again ever.

It was my first time and i went with my family we were 5 people we ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, garlic naan and paneer tikka masala which was so horrible. I ordered spring rolls as appetizers but they forgot to bring it before the meal. They brought it all together and the spring were raw it looked like they were just store bought frozen rolls not even cooked properly.Worst food ever. Never visiting again. Another thing that they did not let us know beforehand that they charge us gratuity on the bill we didn’t about this and double tipped the waitress.

We were 5 people and ordered chicken biryani, chicken tikka masala and panner tikka masala and spring rolls and naan. It was the worst Indian food I have ever tasted. The spring rolls were not even cooked. The paneer tikaa masala was just paneer with orange color curry which was the worst paneer tikka ever I had in my life. The portion sizes were so bad it was so small for 14.99 for curries. The food has no taste at all.Never visiting this place again and they don’t even let you know that they pre charge the tip from the customers. We even tipped the waitress by not knowing the fact we were already charged on the tip.Never visiting this place again.

Wonderful food. Perfect level of spice and all recommendations were on point. Enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. Had veggie samosa, chicken 65 biryani and beef Nihari was great. First time having fruit cream delight! Will be back! Thank you Biryani Pointe

The Chicken Tikka Masala here is outstanding! The chicken was tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, and the sauce had a rich balance of creaminess and spices. It paired really well with naan and rice. Portion size was generous and worth the price. Definitely coming back for this again!

If you're a chai lover, this place is an absolute gem! The aroma hits you the moment it’s served — rich, spicy, and perfectly brewed. The balance of cardamom, ginger, and other spices is spot on, and it’s not overly sweet like many other places. You can tell it’s made with care and tradition. Whether you're dropping by for a quick break or catching up with friends, their chai makes the whole experience comforting and memorable. Highly recommend!

Ordered butter chicken. It wasn't anywhere close. The chicken was in a white sauce. Paratha wasn't a paratha. More of a chapattis. And even that was stale. It was cooked from before they just warmed it in the foil and handed it to us. I don't recommend.

Biryani Pointe in Gurnee is a hidden gem! The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. The Mutton Biryani is a must-try - it's rich, aromatic, and packed with tender meat. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel at home. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine! 😋👌
