Staff was so nice! Welcome to Gurnee! Worth leaving the house for! Manager goes around clearing tables and talking to customers. It’s what brings them back. Today was our first time and we’re five minutes away!
Julio and his team at Gurnee’s BUONA are doing a fabulous job, and even he and his team members routinely check back with the customers at their tables to ensure that all is okay! Also, the food has been nothing less than delicious …great job, Gang!!
The general manager, Marko, welcomed us into the restaurant even though they weren’t officially open yet. That alone says so much about the level of hospitality here. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating, and made us feel welcome right away.
The food is absolutely phenomenal! My personal favorite is the Chicken and Avocado protein bowl—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. My son, of course, can’t get enough of the bacon cheeseburger.
