The workers were sweet & efficient. The food tho.... I will never go there again. I ordered bourbon chicken & white rice. The chicken was fatty and tasteless. The rice nasty & soggy. I realize we are all trying to stretch a dollar but I swear I could make a better meal with dollar tree items (don't get me wrong- I love dollar tree) I ate as much as I could tolerate and tossed the rest. Will never go there again. NEVER EVER!

This restaurant is a reheated comics robbery. The orange chicken is balls of pure chicken flour. The rice seems to be made from all the rice left over between meals.

was enjoying a nice evening with my son at the mall until Paul Blart stopped me. she says the K9 dog in training alerted on me even though I've already passed this dog atleast 5 times. there are 2 actual officers there with her but they hang back with the dog as she approached me. she says she needs to ask me some questions. I said ok and her first question was do I have any firearms on me. I'm on their property and seen the no firearms sign so I was fine with that and told her no I don't. but her next question was a bunch of bs. she asks me if I have any firearms at home? how in the hell is that any of your business. she also proceeds to tell me it's illegal for me not to answer. I requested that the actual officers come over figuring they could shine a little light of this. but nope, they were really of no assistance. what a joke! keep training that dog because he's got a long way to go.

"The mall itself is great, but I had a bad experience with the mall management, specifically the General manager, Randy, and the assistant manager, Tim. They are selfish and don't know how to communicate with their employees and tenants. I'm sharing this because I recently visited the mall and received feedback from their tenants. I won't be doing business with this mall in the future."

Been eating here throughout my whole life, i remember eating this food as a kid occasionally now I'm almost 20. My favorite food places always close down they're usually Chinese food small businesses run by a family or cajun grill places in malls. My mom used to talk in mandarin to the lady for hours at another cajun grill place in hawthorn mall when i was a kid but they closed years ago now and it was my favorite food in the whole world. This place hits the spot of missing that kinda food and of those nostalgic memories. The woman and the man are so welcoming and warming to me, they're polite, fast and somehow always know what you mean wether you point or say "and uhhhhh the red chicken?" Or whatever. And they give SO MUCH FOOD AND I LOVE IT. And leftovers don't suck unlike Panda Express, McDonalds, etc literally heat up ur leftover noodles or rice in the microwave for 1:30 or 2 min with a little water like a teaspoon drizzled around, put a tiny bit of oil in a pan and on medium/low heat throw the meat in until it gets a little charred on the sauce or skin and its like fresh again and the breading stays crispy. Literally 2 amazing meals for $14 if you get double meat. Dont forget to tip because THESE PEOPLE ARE AMAZING <333333333!!!!!!

HALF OF A TOOTHPICK WAS FOUND IN THEIR MEAT. PLEASE READ.Kelly’s Cajun Grill has been one of my favorite restaurants since I first discovered it. However, this will be the last time I eat from there. I ordered Take-Out about two weeks ago and was eating the leftovers a few days later when I felt something unusual in my mouth while I was chewing the food. I thought, could it be a bone? But, Cajun Grill meat doesn’t have any bones in them. To my horror, it was HALF of a toothpick in my mouth. I never experienced something like this before.I contacted the Lake County Health Department Environmental Health services and they did an inspection on 03/07/24. This is the voicemail they left me: “we did a full routine inspection, we didn't find anything out of the ordinary as far as like contaminated food but we did find that sometimes when customers are walking up to the facility allows them to a sample of product I think it was the bourbon chicken and they use toothpicks for those. I know from the complaint that that was like a piece of wood may have been in the food…”In conclusion, they could not do anything about this issue. If the employees use toothpicks to provide samples to the customers, wouldn’t they notice that the toothpick they used broke off while picking the meat and so they should remove that meat or cook a new batch of meat if they couldn’t find the other piece of the toothpick? Human error corrected. My concern is, it wasn’t corrected. The Lake County Health Department don’t realize the severity of the situation. They didn’t even ask for pictures! If I swallowed that toothpick, it could have punctured my organs, caused internal bleeding. It could have been fatal. I always ask myself, what if my order was for a child?I don’t want my restaurant to be shut down, but I don’t want anyone else to experience something like that.
