Decent food and good chef, but the restaurant itself could use some serious LOVE.

This place will nickle and dime you. For four people one had soup, one noodles and 2 hibachi meals just basic. Over $150 there was a $24 service fee and they don’t offer white rice. Everything is extra charge and each water was $2.00 because they only have bottled. The employee tried to tell us that in the whole state of Illinois no hibachi restaurants can serve white steamed rice. Bullshit she thought we were tourists however we have lived in Illinois before. Super not impressed don’t waste your time or money.

Immediately met with disrespectful behavior from the moment we came inside to be sat down. Managers had the worst behavior I’ve ever seen towards customers and also made rude comments during the time we were eating. Because of the disrespect we decided to pay and not tip. Then they started pressing us for a tip even with all disrespectful behavior throughout our time there. Started yelling and cursing at us as we were leaving. Would not recommend. The atmosphere was off the second we entered the building. It felt tense and uneasy. Not kid-friendly

Absolutely terrible. Minimum food me and my buddy split the 60$ for 2 and ended up being over 120$ scammed. No wonder why they have no service. Food was mid. Nice guy tho

The food is disgusting and absolutely the worse customer service!
Took the family and was very disappointed. The kids meals did not include rice noodles or vegetables. No tap water option and the service was trash. No soup or salad included with the dinners . Nearly $200 and we all left hungry. 6 pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. I now know why. Tasty sushi, but you can do better elsewhere. We won’t be back.

We walked in and there was no one to greet us on a Saturday evening. We walked out and should have kept walking. We ended up going back in. Table was sticky and only water option was a bottle. We ordered the dinner for two. Welp, got the bill and it was twice the cost of what we ordered. Up charge for the filet, that we were talked into. No appetizer shrimp. No yum yum sauce. Charged for fried rice? Wait what? Was there even an option? Nope. Then as others have mentioned the service fee of 20%. They must recognize the level of service and figured it was the best way to get tips. Had there been an option, definitely not 20% worthy. Lesson learned.

Added hidden charges, which were just surprising. Made sure to know we were from out of town first.

Welp…. Not going back there. When we walked in they asked us if we want to sit at hibachi table or regular table. Then the waitress came up and very loudly said you don’t want to sit at hibachi table we were like no. She kept insisting on sitting there. We were still like no we want a table. When I tired to order milk for my toddler she gave me a story about not having milk anymore because no one orders it until they throw it away. Then she kept coming back every minute to ask if we’re ready to order so she took my husbands order even though I wasn’t ready. Then she came back and rushed me on my sushi order. When my husbands got to the table first she said you have to wait. Yours not ready yet. When she came back with mine. We had wiped off the table with a baby wipe so my daughter could eat from the table. She said oh my god that’s not sanitary we said we wiped it off. Then she said I have a big foot ball plate I give to baby’s. I got my tea and it tasted like lake water. When we got our check there was a surprise service fee that was $17 when I asked her about it she said it was for the staff and that we didn’t have to tip.the waitress also mentioned the mess on the floor from my 15 month old. So here’s the problem 1 if I chose to sit at a table then let me sit at the table 2 don’t place our tables order with out everyone’s order my husband got his food 10 mins before me 3 if you offer something to customers how about to tell the customers about that thing before it’s to late 4 don’t try to be sneaky and charge us 20% service fee and say oh it’s in fine print on the menu. That entire experience was worth $2 and we paid $105 for two sushi rolls 1 water 1 coke 1 hot tea and 1 Hibachi meal. We were the only ones in there I felt like they were trying to milk all the money from us they could. So avoid.
