I pass by Mother Cluckers all the time and finally decided to stop in after a coworker mentioned it and I saw a few videos on Instagram. I ordered the 3 tender meal with dirty rice, and wow, it did not disappoint! Angel at the counter was super friendly and helpful. He let us know everything is made to order, so it might take a few extra minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The chicken tenders were huge, juicy, and full of flavor with the perfect crispy breading. The dirty rice was delicious, and that biscuit with honey butter was unreal! I could have eaten ten more. Overall, this place is a total gem. There’s so much more on the menu I need to try so I will definitely be back!

I ordered the chicken sandwich and the breading was crispy and perfectly seasoned. The chicken was tender and delicious. I also tried the shrimp and they were very satisfying. Everything my friend I ordered was cooked to order and fresh. It was our first time here and it did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

I had the good fortune of spending the night at a little truck stop in Illinois that shares a building with mother cluckers. I got the 8 piece chicken only. First off the breast pieces are huge! The chicken is cooked to order so it was a 20 minute wait, worth every minute of the wait. Crispy/crunchy outside without being greasy and moist and tender inside. Some of the best fried chicken ive ever had at a restaurant. Do yourself a huge favor and if you happen by this place pull over!! It's that good. Bonus how nice everyone was inside as well. Great chicken, highly recommend

Update - received a call from restaurant sayong how sorry they were i had a bad experience. They have offered to remake my order fresh. Will try next week. Had their chi cken a couple months ago. Was amazing. Their chicken legs were enormous and soo juicy. Mashed potatoes were amazing and they had corn fritters that i have craved since. Well went today.food is not the same and see no reason to ever go back. Chicken leg was measly grisly and hard skin and breading. Threw it away. Mom was visiting andhad been with me last time she couldt even eat her wings so hard . Their corn fritters now have some sweet weird crust on them and are hard on ourside yuk and left a burnt taste in mouth. Mashed potato order shrunk tasted eh (could have made instant potatoes taste better. Just so disappointed and i told everyine i knew and recommended the food to.. now have tell everyone to stick with the jewel cheap chicken blows it away. I am. so sad becase i never had better everything and it is no more....now to make fr pizza for dinner...

Everything down to the service was A1 ,food was really really good. So good I went back a week later when I had time to get my whole family some of this extremely good chicken,they should open more locations for sure this chicken is fire and I’ll put it up against kfc,Popeyes and churches 100

The chicken was so delicious. Way better than any fast food chicken joint. We went after leaving six flags , too bad it’s not closer to home, they need a location in Chicago. The wait was longer than expected, I would order online next time if that’s an option. The taste of the chicken was worth the wait , it was hot, flavorful, and crispy. The biscuits are also pretty good.I would try a different side next time too. I tried the dirty rice. It was a little pricey but everything is these days. It was money well spent. The atmosphere was a gas station with slot machines. That’s not my cup of tea but I would definitely come back for takeout when I’m in the area again. It’s highly recommended.
