Oberweis Ice Cream and Dairy Store

This is honestly one of the best customer service I have ever experienced. When it was time for me to order, I was so hesitant and nervous since it was my first time ordering at this place. But this girl named “Shiela”/“Sheila” helped me out so much, it honestly motivated me to go there more. I go every Sunday after work and she’s always greeting me with a positive attitude. She was very patient/ polite. I’m going again tomorrow with my friends and hopefully they enjoy their ice cream the same way I do :))

Drive through was slow and got order wrong even when the receipt had the correct order

Bathroom seats are old and horrible for it been a gurnee store thos lids need to be replaced

I don’t understand how they have so many people working and they only care about talking. I went through the window and asked for a vanilla milkshake to make it thicker. I even told them several times to leave it thick and they never understand that it is thick because now they left it much more liquid than other occasions. Instead of getting better, they get worse, it even looks like I’m drinking milk with straw. These people are 🤮

I really liked this place because the ice cream is not overly sweet and tastes awesome, also the place and the staff is friendly . They offered some free samples of pumpkin cake which was soo yummy

Went in through the drive thru a few days ago, got a chocolate banana shake, not only was it the best thing I've ever had but the employee Gianna made it so fast too! 10/10 everyone should get this shake

The workers here are terrific and so nice! The young lady, Gwyn, who helped me was so nice and didn’t judge me for taking long. Giving me samples and recommendations! It was out in under 5 minutes and tasted so good. Would recommend coming here and getting ice cream.

Haven't been here for years and I remember it being so good! Walked on a friday night and there was no line. They let me try different flavors of ice cream and I ended up getting a cookie dough Sunday.

I liked the ice cream but it was a little underwhelming. Not what I remember. The hot fudge quickly melted the ice cream so I kid of had to eat it fast..

The inside was fairly empty and cold but they also had tables with chess boards but no chess pieces which would have been nice to play. The table I sat at had not been whipped down which was kind of gross but I cleaned it before I sat down.

Over all not really worth the trip..

They act like they don't have customers standing around waiting for service. I just walked out after a few minutes.
