Visiting from Milwaukee and stoped at this Popeyes restaurant and David the Manager was very courteous and professional

My party and I had to wait about 20 minutes to get our orders placed. Once we placed our orders, it was another 10 minutes for our food to be ready. 9:10pm at night, with nobody else in the establishment and no other customers in the drive through. I’m not sure why it took so long for the food to be prepared, and the lack of customer service didn’t make it any better. If it wasn’t for the food tasting good, this review would be a complete dump on the restaurant. I’ll end the negativity with this: save yourself the time and go to the Raising Canes down the street. The Gurnee Popeyes location is the most disappointing Popeyes I have ever been to.
I ordered through the app but for some reason when I got to the restaurant they could see that an order was placed for my name but it wouldn’t show what I ordered. The staff was super helpful in getting things settled and getting my order. The man who helped me I believe his name was Emanuel and he was very polite and through with making sure I got all my food

Waited over 10 minute in the drive thru while 4 people got their food and left. Had to go inside to get my food and when getting home half my order was NOT there. Tried calling 4 times to get no answer. I was not happy.

Let me say this I only write reviews if real good or very bad. I went here and purchase two 10pc dinner. Added 6 wings and 2 dinner boxes. Had two dirty rice, Cole slaw and mashed potatoes as well and a apple pie. He said we had to wait six minutes for fresh apple pie cause they didn’t have any ready. Now when we got our food the fries was dark and old and they have more fries and changed the chicken to one of the big boxes so no I didn’t check again that’s definitely my fault. Also the God was in the serving pans and it was only 9:30pm and the manager said I really ready to gone home and I got three hours left. Get back and this how all the chicken and fries looked. No utensils or napkins at all. The manager was so busy trying to flirting talking about I gave two extra pies and came out from behind the counter to come outside and say hey we kept walking. The only reason I gave a four in cleaning because the young lady was mopping. I’m just trying to understand it. Why risk giving bad food when you had three hours left to work.

Made order online. Store was clean. The food was old ( Chicken was old, tenders was old and hard the fries was cold ) was my first time in this location and was very bad impression for the first time, I don't think I will be back to this location.
New place looks clean, everybody working hard.
