The new atmosphere at Steak n shake is strange. It's pricier than other fast food so I would have expected some human interaction. The person who brought the shake just said my name and left it at the counter without making sure everyone heard him. Another couple in the restaurant asked if that was ours. Had they not done that, it would have stayed there until I remembered it was missing. Just a strange atmosphere...

Food is ok. Typical fast food now. There is barely any interaction with staff. You now order on a kiosk inside with no one nearby to assist if you are struggling. It can take a bit for food but it's not horrible. The lack of staff interaction makes it a very inpersonalable place. Which if that's what you like. Then it's the place for you.

My mom and I visited this location late last night. This was our first time dining in at this location and we were a little confused while ordering. However, Mr. Rufus was so pleasant in assisting us and making sure we had everything correct. He cooked our food and brought it to us. Because of him we had a great first time experience.
