I visited Tacos El Durango for breakfast after hearing good things about their chilaquiles, but unfortunately, I left feeling a bit disappointed. I ordered the chilaquiles with cecina, and I'd rate them a 3 out of 10. The portion size was smaller than expected, and the price didn't match the quality or quantity of the food. Given the hype, I was expecting more, but it just didn’t meet my expectations.

Good not great. Enjoyed my steak and Al pastor tacos, taco sauces were oddly creamy, not particularly spicy. Could be a style thing but I prefer the heat.

Did we just become best friends? YUP! ? I found this gem hidden in a small strip mall in waukegan Illinois. I make it my goal to try small Mexican restaurants across the US and this is BY FAR the best Al Pastor Taco Dinner I've had IN THE UNITED STATES. The only downside to this place is I don't think I can continue my quest to try as many as I can because now, I only want Tacos el Durango!Great job, guys!

These are the best tacos in the area, hands down.I've never had a good chicken taco from ANY restaurant my entire life, I kept hearing to try these, that they are actually seasoned and delicious.They were right, they are Amazing.Everything on the Menu is Amazing.I now eat here at least twice a week haha.

Food ain't bad but lacks flavor. My torta was so small and their flan is so ridiculously expensive.

My husband and I love this place. It's a family-owned restaurant. The food is great, and the entire place is always very clean. We highly recommend them.
