I never write reviews, but I had to this pizza was DISGUSTING and TASTED TERRIBLE I got mushrooms onions and tomatoes and tasted like something was expired, sauce had no tase and the dough speaks for itself also …EXPENSIVE… I ordered a salad as well looked nothing like the pictures tasted like freezer burn a handful of cheese and fake tasting chicken and they forgot croutons ..

My loving boyfriend who works hard for his money late at night has lost out on over 50 dollars due to the store closing early. They have taken the closing time off of the door but the website says they don't close the Gurnee location until 2 am, I'm sure the customers aren't happy either. I believe the hours should be updated appropriately and if you are closing early you need to update Google to not false advertise closing times for delivery service applications. That will allow customers to order at correct times!!!!!!!

They advertise fake prices in their menu
Right at the counter they have a big display with the menu and prices

The listed prices are much lower than what you are charged for, I contested this and the answer was that’s what my system shows the menu must be outdated you want them or not

And also rude didn’t do anything about it or reported the issue

To top it off I ordered meat lovers pizza and got just pepperoni

I’ve tried ordering a pizza since 11:45pm. Provided my name, address, card number … WALKING IN HOTT tomorrow morning. You charged my card, no show.. I work hard for my money and I will NOT let you take it with no food at my doorstep, with no resolution. Btw I’ve been waiting on your “front desk line” for almost 20 minutes. See you in person tomorrow!

I had a disappointing experience with Toppers. My kids wanted to try it, so we ordered while at Great Wolf Lodge. The bill came to $34.84, including the delivery fee. When the driver called, he asked me to meet him in the lobby because he was busy, but I explained I couldn’t since I was alone with young kids. He reluctantly came up to our room, but when I handed him a $50 and asked for $10 in change, he said he only had $5. I told him that wouldn’t work, and he took the pizzas, saying he’d go to a store for change. I didn’t want cold pizza and told him to cancel the order. We ended up ordering from another place nearby. It was an unprofessional experience, and I wouldn’t order from Toppers again.

I won’t be back. I was quoted 45 min for pizza delivery which is fine. I received my order 2.5 hours after ordering. The person I talked to at the store was rude and you could tell he could’ve cared less. I don’t suspect this business will be around long.

2nd order in a row that we were told 30-45min for our delivery, and it took over 2hrs. And 2nd time in a row that our order was messed up, and arrived cold. When we called to complain we were simply told, "sorry, there's no manager here". I've given up on toppers, I'll order elsewhere.

Went into the establishment for the first time 8/29/24, shift manager was in the parking lot sitting on his car hanging out with several other people in the parking lot; there were 2 young men behind the counter making and serving the food and another who was in front of the counter tht was going 2 and fro behind the counter preparing the food without washing their hands.Went back 9/7/24 afert being on the phone to place an order for over 20mins, and there was only 1 server/and prepper with about 20 patrons in the establismemt..approach to place my order after standing in line for 25mins only to be told the items on the menu was never served..waited 35 mins for 14 wings( 1/2 spicy honey &1/2 garlic parm and garlic bread knots.
which was incorrect when I got home. Made a call to tge store the following day to express my concerns to the manager ..Jason who said he was the M.O.D on duty was extremely rude and gravitated ask me if tht was all, I wanted to say and hung up the phone.I knw this is a franchise and I'm trying to contact someone tht can get this place in order, before I take this further.

Update: I was honestly so impressed with how the staff resolve the very simple issue that I have to call the manager and let him know how his staff is running the store in his absence great freaking job!!!

The pizza was amazing, everything that you would think of when you hear about pizza from Chicago. It definitely gave world famous..... Keep in mind they are open till 2am and located in a highly frequented tourist location which makes it even more amazing that the customer service was WORLD CLASS, and I mean that. ..... We ordered right around midnight and the place was definitely lively. The staff of 2 for sure but possibly three kept everything in order and had orders in and out. We ordered 2 medium pizzas but were given 2 smalls instead they are decent size so i
t took my son to notice..... The gem in this story is that the manager couldn't have been more pleasant in taking pride resolving our issue .... With a smile. If ur in the area check them out the food is amazing

I have now emailed multiple times, I have called as well, and no response. This location has messed up my order multiple times and they refuse to respond to me. I just wasted $60 here and my order was wrong. Don’t waste your time if getting the entirely wrong order bothers you.

In town visiting the Amusement Park is for the 4th and ordered delivery to our hotel. The site said it will take about 45 minutes. I paid and added a tip. Fine. About 50 minutes later I get a call from the guy at Toppers saying they can’t deliver because they don’t have a delivery driver. He was the only one working. He said we will remake your pizzas and refund you the delivery fee and tip if you can come pick it up. Not gonna lie I was a little annoyed and angry about it. I told him I’m not from the area and asked for the address. I went to the place and this guy was working hard. He was super friendly and very apologetic. I lost my annoyance and felt compassion for the guy. He said he loves working there as it’s a family owned company. It took about 5 more minutes for my pizzas to get ready. He boxed em up and by the time I got back to the hotel they were piping hot still. They were fantastic! My family loved it. I would definitely recommend this place when in town. Next time I’ll just go for the carry out option ?

My first time ordering from Toppers. I place my order on line with a pick up time of 11:04 am. I got a call that it would not be ready until 11:30, I got there at 11:30 and I was told it was not ready. Another customer came in and was not acknowledge the employee was setting up and look like he might have been late to work. No hair restrained no gloves while making food. A delivery driver came in and the customer waiting left, now the delivery driver leaves. Well I guess I have to go somewhere else my self it's 11:45 and no food.
